Thanks so much for the info, I just wanted to see who had appeared in which series and also ponder to why certain professionals are not in this series.

I know that some professionals are still on the competition circuit, so it could be that they are busy at the moment.
And I think someone said that one from the earlier seasons had recently opened a dance school (don't remember who, though), so s/he could be busy with that.

That would be Paul Killick

I wonder why Izabela wasn't on this series. I really liked her.

Or Andrew - I really liked what little we saw of him last year.....

Andrew and Hanna H weren't invited back by the bbc I heard.

I liked Izabela too!Shame she's not in it this year. John Burns was good in the first season.

Paul Killick and Hanna Karttunen were my all time favourite people ever to take part in the show.

Wouldn't "Killer" be a brilliant judge in place of Bruno - I'm sick of his off-the-wall behaviour and biased scoring ???

I'm with you on this. I'm ready for some new judges and I think some retired ballroom dancers would be great.

Maybe as long as you don't go suggesting replacing the 'DanceMeister' Len.

I feel a better split of pro ballroom dancers and theatrical dancers/choreographers on the panel would be better. BUT that is just my very HO.

Yes - I think we need to have at least one other BALLROOM dancer on the panel. Whilst Craig, Arlene and Bruno have obviously picked up a lot over the previous series - the fact still remains that their background is in modern/ jazz dance and not ballroom and whilst qualified to comment on performance - they have no credentials whatsoever to judge ballroom.

I do wish they'd get rid of Arlene - Craig at least offers constructive suggestions in his judging, and Bruno has entertainment value - Arlene just comes over as a sex starved, bitter old cow.....

But hopefully they'd replace her with another female judge as there needs to be some balance.

Well Karen IS a judge - if she decided to hang up her shoes - she'd be ideal.......

I'd miss seeing her dance though!

If I remember rightly - last year she had judged all the other female dancers - bit intimidating for them!

Oh yes! I don't mind bruno but the Killick being a judge would have me glued to my seat. He'd be fabulous.

How good was he in series 1 when he and Verona kept doing lifts...... all those arguments on SCD3 with Len.......the samba with JLC..... oh yes, lets start a campaign to replace either Bruno or Arlene !!!
killickswife
26-10-2006
Yes! I love him, he's the most talented AND entertaining pro ever imho of course

People go on about the Coley doing lifts, pah not a patch on Paul's rule breaking sessions

The samba with JLC- tv gold. As was him teaching random people in a shopping centre how to use a cape, did you see that one lol?

Fan-bloody-tastic, nearly as good as when he took Anton out to buy him jeans !!! ....such personality AND he would know what he was talking about...... unlike Bruno & Arlene. He'd get the ratings back on track in no time !

Are you listening, Auntie Beeb ???
killickswife

Oh that was possibly the most lovely piece of tv I've ever seen, the Killick shopping, heaven.

Absolultey gutted when he decided not to come back, pretty sure that was his decision and I kind of don't blame him, he got voted out unfairly so early both times but I'd love to see him on there again. Actually I think he should have Claudia's job, and JLC could be his co-presenter. It would be like back in the good old days haha. OK I'm getting carried away haha...

Talk about a dream-team, Mrs Killick....... a match made in Heaven ! It gets my vote !!!
