Too early I know, but does anyone get fed up when the series ends ???

I love SCD, SDF and the latest Maria type shows and I get a bit "down" when they go off the screen, looking desperately forward to the next installment. Is anyone as sad as me or am I alone in my "need to get a life" status !? Whilst I can't wait for the final, I also don't want the series to end either, a bit like reading a good book I suppose, which is what I'll have to do again when SCD finishes !

I worry about almost getting obsessed too, I religiously watch ITT, any appearances on other TV shows are scanned (today Paul O Grady, BBC Breakfast and another show whose name I have forgotten). Not being a smoker, drug taker or big drinker etc. perhaps this is my addiction...... Anyone else out there like me ?

i feel the same! I get totally bored wen SCD isn't on. It's the best show in the world, and i am so addicted!

I find it difficult when the show ends.

I can not wait until the next series starts,

Now come on!

Pull yourselves together!

What about all the "clones" of SCD which will follow?

There'll be "Strictly Dance Fever" in January,
and "Just the two of us, Strictly horse jumpin' on ice." to follow.
Plenty of opportunities for "phone votin'!"

Well first there's the depression.... then the slump... then the shakes.... then the mumbling incoherently while sleeping.... then the resorting to wearing pyjamas and eating chocolate while desperately trying to find news of the next series on the internet.... then the sobbing while re-reading the threads and rewatching the tapes... but then....

you see Bill on Breakfast and he mentions Strictly and all the excitement starts again

I think the situation is compounded because it's all on over the build up to the Xmas period. I also Sky+ XF & both series finish Xmas week. The New Year is such an anti-climax; the rubbish weather, being skint for a couple of months, my fave programmes finishing & rubbish TV.

I do, but at the same time I know that it means January's coming up, which means American Idol. And then Canadian Idol, and Australian Idol, and Strictly Dance Fever, and Dancing On Ice and...

Oh dear. Do I need a life?

Love Island got me through this summer ode to the fact I got a nightly dose of Brendan and Only Fools On Horses Deirmund (see SCD link there) what I'll do next year is anyone's guess but resorting to BB8 (is that the right number) is not an option - not never unless on the next CBB they have a SCD link

Feel totally miserable when it ends. I get so involved - and with SCD ITT it's hard not to when you get a daily feed!
Everyone thinks I'm sad but I don't care.

Can I join the "I'm sad and I don't care" club? I wish we could have a week of ITT tidying up all the loose ends and stuff after the series ends to let us down gently...........

You're not, and it's going to be even worse this year, with the repeat on BBC2 on Sunday (which I watch ) I've got SCD/ITT 7 days a week, and then they'll just stop and we'll be left bereft .....

Well yes and no... When SCD finishes until the F1 season starts... I miss ITT like anything though... LI did help this year but I only watched because of Brendan... And it was the World Cup... I've only watched the last series see so I haven't had a proper slump yet...

Pleeease....can we stop this thread right now! It's only week 3/4 FFS! Let's just enjoy SCD while we can and not think about the end just yet. It's so depressing seeing this thread on page 1, let it slink off to page 2 or 3 until SCD is in the final weeks.

Er...it has only just started!

By the time it finishes Christmas will be here and there will be endless 'specials' of every reality show under the sun anyway!

Yes I must admit I am a member of this club too. I was rather down when the series finished. What makes me mad is I missed the FIRST series and have never seen Brendan dance with Natashia (except for the odd clips you see from time to time on ITT). It looks sensational and I would love to be able to see a re-run of the first show or a compilation of their dances in the first series. They look dynamite together.

I really don't want to think about that just yet. I'm having so much fun watching it, the saturday shows, and the weekday ITT shows. I'm loving it so much this year, ......must be because of a certain cricket player , I really don't want this to end! And I also love to talk about it on this forum with the other forumites.
