6th generation iPod
Is it worth waiting for it to be released? Or should I just buy a video iPod?

The rumours rarely happen.
There's not going to be anything before Christmas in my opinion. |

Well there are rumours of Dec 2006 but I think they are made up to throw people off from buying the zune.

I think if you are asking yourself this question already, wait to see what comes out. There's no point buying something if you know you will be annoyed with it when a new version comes out. |

Dunno, but i'm glad he's gone.
Hopefully he'll not return, he's simply, a pain in the arse! |

they've been rumoured for ages.
rumoured to have a full widescreen display. so i guess in answer to your question, it depends on whether you want it for music, or think you might use it to watch video on. Iain |

yup - that certainly looks like it lives up to apple's trademark 'ease of use'!

hard to guess what it will be.
The innards of the Nano are now actually a Samsung. Samsungs kits already had double battery life compared to the Nano so Apple cut a deal with Samsung. |

Since we've only just a couple of months ago had the official unveiling of the current range of ipod's, I doubt that there's going to be anything new between now and the new year, possibly spring 2007 at the earliest?
If apple wanted to launch something in time to cash in for christmas sales then it would already be on sale now, like the current range of ipods..
