Homechoice broadband go-slow
Hi all
My broadband connection has been going strange for a few weeks now. It is jumping between OK and hideously slow. I have tried running anti-virus, spyware and washers to try and see if it is something running in the background (thats what it feels like when you are online) but nothing. I have obviously done hard-reboots too. Any ideas? Is it just me? gster! |

My download speeds have been going up and down like a yoyo for about the last 5 days, on the Greenwich server.

Tried contacting support?
I had a speed issue last week, called support and my line profile had been switched to 5Mbit for some reason. Was on the phone for about 3mins and it was sorted. |

Sounds like training the line - like iSix my profile had been put on the highest, which my line isn't good enough to support. The box appeared to reset the connection regularly - once or twice an hour for a few minutes. Traffic could occasionally get through so it gave the impression of being slow. But looking over at the box I could see it flashing. When it went blue again all was OK. Like iSix a quick phone call to CS sorted it out...
