OK, talking full fantasy mode here - not "who is likely", but "who do you want to see ballroom dance?"

Richard Hammond (when he is all better )
David Ginola
Shane Richie...

for starters, I am sure I can think of a few more!

Aww the hamster dancing, what a great idea!

(He lives close to me *smug*)

Oh I meant to say - say why, as well, unless 1) you really don't want to or 2) it's obvious!

For me, first thoughts were Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor - they can both sing and act, if they can dance too I'm a goner!!

I can't imagine either of them are likely candidates though!

Jamie Oliver! Just watching him on tv now wonder how he would cope with ballroom dancing?

Kirsty and Phil from Location x3 - they seem to be very likeable. Am sure the ladies would fall for Phil.

Coleen from the WAG camp? - Give the girl something else to do other than shopping.

Internationally I really like Zach Braff from Scrubs so would be great to see him on my screen everynight for 3 months...

Am just watching Scrubs now, Frodora!

Am I allowed to have Jason Lee on the dancefloor? I think he would brush up quite well, big hands and a dazzling mega-witt grin, I think he would be a charmer. Of course, I think he would be a true twinkletoes as well

See I'd have Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May. The likelihood for it being utterly hysterical is quite high and they are super competitive with one another.

That would be hilarious actually. Maybe they could bring Quention Wilson back and have a Christmas special for Top Gear LOL

I can see Richard being enthusiastic but just okay, Jeremy being terrible and not caring and James being actually quite good.

I'd love to see John Barrowman have a go too, but after Dancing On Ice he might be scarred for life!

I didn't know he was on dancing on ice!

I agree he'd be a great candidate for SCD

Yep and he was very good and went out WAY too early. A lot of people thought he should have won it.

I don't think it'd be possible for him to do the show unfortunately as he tends to be in panto in December and Torchwood is still filming over October/November time.

Yes, I'd like to see John Barrowman as well but as he does musicals maybe he can already dance but he would be great fun.

I just discovered hoardes of clips on youtube

Like I said, this is the fantasy thread - so he can stay on the list of "we wish"

edit: David Tennant

Now that would be worth watching!

I'd have liked to see somebody like Paul O'Grady on it but I don't think that would be advisable anymore considering his health problems!
