Does anyone else feel this way?

I love the dancing and especially the professionals but the programme is getting a bit "samey" - in particular the clips of how this celebrity is getting on with their dancer. We all know they pick out the juciest bits. ITT is worse still - if you watch it every night you realise they are repeating themselves. I'm certainly not ready to switch off yet but its all so predictable (alright apart from Spoony and Ola going out last week!).

(I'm now going to disappear quickly before someone attacks me .....!!!) .. gone.

Er, no! In fact, for me they don't show enough of the practice sessions!

I'd like to see more of the training VTs - I certainly would like it to be less predictable, ie not just seeing the juiciest bits... I'm certainly not tired of it yet, saddo that I may be

When Claudia said last night how much she loved watching Matt and Carol's training footage because it was so funny I just kept thinking 'well why don't we get to see hardly any of it?!' - bring back Strictly Confidential so we can show those funny/silly moments as well as all the drama.

And another one to plea for more training footage - I have no interest in some random Italian bloke I've never heard of warbling at me, I want to see how the dancers are getting on, and Ronan *insert swear word I can't use on DS* Keating on Monday

Have to admit I always fast forward through the training bits but can watch the dancing a million times and, rather strangely, the judging over and over again. Absolutely have to fast forward Bruce and Tess at the beginning-always dreadful.

Are you talking about the main show or ITT ? If it's ITT then I agree.

Sadly I think it is getting a bit predictable and it might be nice to give it a shot in the arm with some fresh ideas. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Len's masterclass, I enjoy the training footage but there doesn't seem to be the bredth of items this year - where's the public panels gone and their amusing commentary and marks (last year we has that highly amusing panel of old folk on, with the gentleman making Claudia laugh hysterically) ? where's the phone in's ? where's the chance to win some of the stuff from the show ? It gave the whole thing a more unpredictable flavour and more giggles. Plus this year it seems like there's never enough time for anything with items dropped, the panel not getting a chance to preview each couple, things feel rushed and unprepared.

I'd like to see ITT on for an hour with lots of training footage, lots of analysis from the judges and even fans who I think would be great to have on a few days a week, lots of fun items. I'd also like to see the costume designers at work too. It is becoming a little stale now I'm afraid and dare I say it, desperate if it has to have on some total unknown Italian pop star to prertend he's watched the show.

Claudia is a legend, ITT is a great show - but sadly this is the poorest year so far for me.

I agree I would love ITT to be longer with time to really explore the couples in training including techniques the pros use to teach the dance, for example their tips on how to spin etc. The intervies with the couples are great, but would be even better if they had more time with them and asked more specific questions rather than just a general how's training going.

All that aside though, I do love ITT and for a half hour show they try to get a lot of interesting things in.

Basically I would love for ITT to be better, but I'm not about to stop watching it anyway.

I agree with above and also bring back "strictly Confidential"

I find I sometimes prefer watching the edited show on Sundays, because the main Saturday night show has far too much 'padding' - phone lines to ring, Bruce's 'jokes'...

The voting result is a long time coming, and even that is after sitting through a tortuous song and dance routine (as with Meatloaf last week)

Why bother with the show at all then - surely the idea is the build up and the anticipation, also people do need to be reminded of the 'phone numbers to call.

If we're talking padding try the X Factor what a load of waffle goes on in that show

We were at the first SCD at the BBC this year and Brucie is a legend - yes his jokes are a bit samey but HE IS the consumate professional and a very very nice person as well

I love all that part of the show! I have to admit, I am happy with the was SCD is, and I have voiced my opinions of ITT on a few other threads, but that is just basically to show more of the dancers and less of people plugging their latest CD/DVD/other crap to us!

Yes I like the main show how it is..the highlights show is good as there is less bruce, put there is also less training footage and feedback from the couples about their dances.

Yes, I'll settle for more training footage even if Brucie does go on a bit.

Well, I suppose they need to drag it out a bit to grab as much cash from the phone lines as possible.
