New HD TV, but too many connections for by brain
I have a technosonic lcd3251 (the tesco one)
at the back it has A) 2 * scart B) YPbPr (and associated audio connector) C) PC in (15 pin d-sub) D) HDMI e) S-video I am getting a sky HD installed next week, and I wish to build a media centre PC. The sky will use the "best" connector which I assume will be HDMI, so out of what is left.... Which of the remaining inputs will I be aiming to use when building the HTPC?? |

Yeah if the HTPC is streaming SD video and audio then the VGA should be fine and if the spec is suitable it should handle HD as well assuming the PC has the grunt to decode the mpeg2/mpeg4 video.
SKY HD can use HDMI and your DVD player the Component until you replace it with the HTPC I would imagine. |
