I agree with all of you!

I was also rather annoyed that Arlene and Len decided to round on Brendan and Claire in the results show (when asked who should leave) for no other reason than the fact he gave them a bit of lip. It's childish; and they're the ones bringing Claire into it now, not him.

Well having been rather unprofessional in his conduct and having done those lifts I don't think Len in particular has been very impressed with Brendan this series...

It would be unfair on Claire for them to go out from a dancing pov but I can see why Len's getting fed up with him.

aww it seemed in the results show that Brendan kicked up so much of a fuss because Camilla was so upset, that seemed really sweet to me, but he's gonna get himself into trouble. Tho loads of people agree with him, there are ways of saying it lol. Plus when you look at it Ray and Camilla were actually 3rd, which isn't that bad, they just got bad comments

I think its fairly safe to say that the judges have their favourites from the word go (Emma,Mark,Louisa) so even if they trip, fall, etc they would still give a 8 or 9 ,if anyone else does it they get unfairly marked! I dont know much about dancing or how they judge etc so this is how it seems from my point of view, they obviously know who they want in the final,i think it sucks!they are trying to influence viewers votes

I don't know the biggest range of scores tonight, but they shouldn't differ by more than a couple of points, IF they are all suitably qualified to be judges in the first place.
How can they all be watching the same moves, musical interpretation etc. yet have such variation in scores.
We have come to accept that Craig marks lower, with the exception of Emma it seems, who can do no wrong in his eyes. Len is a pain in the a**e this series. I think Arlene thinks the public like her being raunchy and pervie. Bruno reminds me of Manuel (Italian version) from Fawlty Towers!

Good on ya Brendan. It needed to be said and was supported totally by competitors and audience tonight. Camilla - Brendan still luvs ya baby!!!

In my opinion Brendan is right and I was glad that somebody at last said something. It is ridiculous for one judge to give a 2 and on the same couple another judge to give an 8!! I was shocked by some of the marks given tonight and I can well understand how Brandan feels. He was brill tonight and I could not believe some of the comments. He should not try to be elegant but filthy? What kind of a comment is that. Poor old Georgina got a few compliments which meant she got sudden death from the viewers! No more sympathy vote!! I thought Karen and Mark were fantastic and he is quite a mover!! Enjoying SCD but I do believe something has to be done with the judges and Brendan had a RIGHT to say something and not to be told to shut up and just dance! How insulting.

Here, here Dancing Girl. We all love SCD, please don't let the judges and the sympathy vote make it into a farce

It is becoming a farce for sure. Maybe if we all post comments on this thread that the judges were out of order and Brendan spoke for the nation in saying they'd lost the plot then Claudia will bring it up on ITT and tell Len and Arlene what the viewing public think.

Then again maybe she won't......

I love Brendan for saying what he said. And the judges saying he should leave nfor speaking his mind pretty much proves his point!!!! I love Camilla agreeing with him too, shows that the rest of them feel the same. An 8 for Georgie and a 2 for Peter is discusting.

I hope that Brendan and Claire are on ITT next week and someone lets him know about all the support his remarks are getting on this forum. I hope the judges know too!

The most unprofessional piece on tonight's show was when Arlene and Len said they wanted Brendan and Claire to leave.

They weren't judging them on their dancing they were throwing a hissy because Brendan dared to challenge them.

If the judges want mutual respect and professionalism then Arlene (for one) should stop making her salacious remarks about Mark, Bruno should stop favouring Louisa and Craig should stop favouring Emma.

They are supposed to be Judges but they are becoming more unprofessional as they are so public about their "pets."

Their marking tonight was stupid to say the least and I for one am glad that Brendan challenged them.

They deserved it!!

Any reason Len or Arlene had for wanting Brendan and Claire to leave would have not been affected by his hissy fit. They had both scored him as their joint or only lowest dance of the night. They were in the bottom three 2 weeks in a row. It could have been a prejudice they had before ( I don't think it was because I thought she was one of the weaker foxtrots) or just because they didn't rate it.

i think it was only down to his hissy fit...as were the fact that they were 2nd to the bottom....even arlene admit her mark was 'controversial'......totally unprofessional and unrelated to the dancing.

Totally agree. Also agree with many others who has showed similiar frustration. I've actually gone to the BBC website and send an official complaint to them. I think we, viewers has the absolute right to ask for a relatively fair competition. The judges has apparently turned into some kind of bullies and this must stop. Anyone wanted to make a complaint can go to the BBC complaint webpages and make your voice heard.

They give their scores to the producers or whoever before their comments to the couples.
Scores preceded the hissy fit.

Sorry to disagree, but he started telling them they'd lost the plot as soon as the routine finished and they faced the judges along with Bruce so, yes, she did make up her mind about the 4 earlier !

I disagree

They most certainly only mentioned wanting him to leave because he spoke up on behalf of all the celebrities and pros and they didn't like it. They were not by far the worst performers on the night. If Arlene had given them a half decent score which they deserved they would have been mid table and not near the bottom

That's why I said it could be prejudiced, but not based on the hissy fit.
Controversial because it was low. 4 was too low I would have given it a 6 but a 5 looking at how the judges score would not be unexpected.
I've seen the score on the screen not match the score on the paddle and they go with the screen score it is the original.

hmmm if i'd have thought it through that'd have been quite obvious as they'd have to be quick to get it up on the screen lol!

but i still think the mentioning for claire to go is based on brendan which is unfair....i think claire is largely ignored unfairly by the judges

But they both scored them the lowest so logic would follow that they would think they were the worst or one of.
Also the judges joint's scores had them in the bottom 3 2 weeks running. They are not even considered as one of the better couples if rankings are followed
