Yes I know that but if Brendan is going to criticise their judging and the pros have their own prejudice then it's a bit pointless them bringing it up. After all the pros would not be able to objectively say who's worse if they are prejudiced. You understand.
And the judges can see more than what the pro's see from ther seating.
I'm not saying the judges are right but Brendan get a grip!

Anyway I feel I'm saying the obvious and repeating myself . Anymore questions refer to my previous comments

Good for Brendan I say! (but I would...) He wasn't totally coherent but that just showed his passion at the judges remarks - after all the comments about being too raunchy, they do a perfectly elegant foxtrot and are critisised for it - they'll be back to raunchy next week!!! (which is ok by me...)
It's the inconsitency which gets to me - the judges all have been known to be very harsh in comment and then give high scores - and also to praise highly and give low ones.
Fine if they're pointing out minor problems in later series cos there are no glaring errors to critisise but not with basic details which surely using the right part of the foot must be.
Also - how could anyone have been good enough in the first couple of weeks to deserve marks of 8 and 9? What do they have to aim for if they're given almost perfection so soon?
Do hope Brendan gets onto ITT and gets chance to talk!!

Nice one Brendan everyone else was thinking it and he had the guts (and possibly the madness) to say it (loved Camilla cheering him on)

The juding tonight was farcial and to get personal as to who should go as Len and Arlene clearly did in the results show was even worse.

HOW did Georgie improve that much - 8's wtf?! Emma's foot work was off and she comes top Brendan and Claire perform a nice foxtrot and get slated and that 4 was personal.

Loved the fact he even apologised to Claire I think he was frustrated and it boiled over but it was the truth and I think the judges and the BBC need to take note before it becomes strictly farce!

I think it is a real shame that Arlene made so many personal comments about mark. His paso was fantastic, his dancing talent speaks for itself.

Brendan is a great dancer. And he knows it I love him and Claire, she doesn't put up with any of his bull!

I'd like to see what he say about it when he's a little calmer.

I'd like to hear Arlene justify her 4 for Brendan and Claire!

Not a rulebreaker, so never saw the attraction of Brendan.
I have delayed posting because I wanted to be clear in my own mind that this wasn't a stunt to grab audience attention (and votes) because he doesn't think his dancing would be good enough to get him out of the dangerzone of the bottom 4.

Well I know others will disagree but if his frustration wasn't real I think he has a second career as a serious actor.

I commend him for using his position as "the bad boy" to question the quality of the judging. I say this because I think he is the only dancer who could say this and not commit SCD suicide.

He was absolutely confident of the reaction he was going to get from the couples backstage; which suggested to me that they had all been talking about it and he was boiling over with frustration.

He was definitely not the only person who was frustrated by the judges' comments. Peter also said he's irritated and not the only one. Peter wouldn't say it in front of the camera if it wasn't true, apparently this has been the case in the backstage for sometimes. Brendan is the only one who's brave enough but I'm a bit worried for him as the judges, being such a bunch of pathetic losers, will definitely be nasty to him next week. Unless the BBC give the judges a warning or have them fired. The bullying must stop!

I'm 100% sure his frustration is genuine. I agree with your comments totally. Peter saying he was frustrated too and Camilla's reaction suggests he was speaking for everyone.

Surely, the judges won't be allowed to make it blatantly personal and score him on things other than his performance on the night? That would be a travesty

Ok Len I agree that 4 judges should balance everything out, but when three of them are biased there will never be any balance at all! They are terrible and all of the pros look as if they're sick of it - after all, they put hours of work into every dance and in the end it looks as if the judges have decided the marks or at least their end position before even watching them!!!

PLEASE all of you write to the BBC Strictly Come Dancing and complain about the judges because only then will something be done (hopefully!!). The whole situation is getting ridiculous as I have already posted on this subject I will not repeat myself but I can only add --

GO BRENDAN

Cos he is RIGHT and most of the other contestants seemed to agree with him. I am beginning to "hate" Emma as she is so obviously the favourite and no matter what she does she "lights up the room"!! OH PLEASE

I have to say i totally agree with Brendan

The scores in this whole series have been off.

To give Emma the scores she got last week in the jive when she nearly fell (had it not been for Darren) and then again this week when her "footwork was off" is unbelievable.

But to give Georgina an 8 tops the lot the scores are not for effort but for the dance a 5/6 was the best she should have got.

Agree that Ray's weired face pulling really put me off his Paso and it was no way better than Marks.

Come on judges get a grip and start being judges, professional judges

Yes the judges are becoming daft and to personal and in Bruno's case a little obsessed with the level of celebrity but I think the audiance as a whole are voting against the judges.

Georgina last week being a prime example - the judges do not have complete control only 50% of the vote

I would be very surprised if Emma makes the final and Louisa needs to check her attitude if she gets less than great comments, thet reflected badly on her she needs to take a few pointers from Emma on how to be gracious!

I have to say that was how it came across to me, and I'm surprised I'm the only one who thinks so. Last week he said backstage something along the lines of "I'm not going to do lifts all the time but if we're going to get low marks I have to do something to get people to vote for us"... as soon as he made his comments last night that was what I thought he was doing.

Just to be clear, I absolutely agree with what he said. The judges drive me crazy with their bias. Georgina getting 8/10? What was that? For Arlene to come out with "when you dance I lose all perspective" last week was completely ridiculous- she's a judge for crying out loud! What annoyed me was that by saying it then, he probably got loads of votes for them that were nothing to do with their routine.

After reading the other comments, I'm coming round to the idea that maybe it wasn't completely self-interested. I'm sure all the other couples agree with the odd marking. But I very much doubt that there wasn't some part of his mind thinking, the dance didn't merit a high ranking or voting, so I'll get a load of votes by being a bad boy instead.

I bet they would have gone out last night if he hadn't done it.

I never thought I'd have a good word to say about Brendan because I can't stand him, but I did so admire him last night. WAY TO GO!
The judges have made the mistake of thinking they are the stars of the show. They aren't. They are just the support act, the dancers are the stars. I'm so fed up with the circus of egos the show has become that for the first time ever I'm not going out of my way to watch it. Much more of this weird marking and OTT opinions and the show will be dead in the water.
There is only one way to save it. Get a whole new set of judges for next (if there is one) season. They don't need to be sycophantic, just honest.

That 4 is the thing (to paraphrase Hamlet) as far as Arlene is concerned. I enjoyed their foxtrot, but it wasn't sensational. 5 would have been harsh and 7 was generous, but a 4 was just weird.

Although, I found his comments unprofessional, I agree with Brendan!

Arlene has become a pantomine villian, she is only judging on looks in my opinion. Mark could have sat on the floor and played cards, but because she thinks he looks good she'd mark him well. It's a shame as Mark has great talent and could do very well.

Craig needs to get over Emma, I'm sick of how much footage there is of her on ITT, and how all her VTs have been edited as nicely as possible. She isn't that good, she moans too much and she should have been mid-table not at the top.

Len I still like, although I thought his marking was erratic.

And Bruno, just because someone is 17 doesn't mean they deserve higher marks.

W***ers.

Yeah, she isn't aloud to drool over Brendan without a membership to the BCPA ...

Until then he's ours...

I don't like Brendon and his whole 'bad boy' image is just boring as far as I'm concerned but I had to agree with him yesterday, seems he can't please them whichever way he goes.
