i dont have any feelings for them either way but i thought it was odd tonight that Camilla was in tears when they were actually 3rd! It should have been Erin crying, but you didn't see her carrying on like that!

Erin is a tough cookie, she doesn't shed tears.

I understand why Camilla cried, their dance scores were the most varied tonight. And after Spoony's departure last week, 3rd is not safe.
I used to like Erin, but she mucked up bigtime doing that stupid dummy dance in last year's final. Miss Whiplash didn't cry then, so not likely to now. |

That's the one reason I don't like Erin - she seems distant and cold and I suppose you need to be to succeed in such a 'cut-throat' business, but I don't warm to her personality like one would do to Karen or Camilla.
My dislike for Erin never really bothered me before, but this year she's dancing with the God that is Pete Scmeichel and due to the fact that I'm a life long United fan, I can't very well not support him, so I'm in a quandry. |

I can never really arose much emotion when I watch him and I can't figure out why . I know he is good but his performances just leave me a bit cold... I even forget he's in the competition sometimes! I did think their Paso was very good but he needs too work through his spine and shoulders more, the arms looked a bit detatched.

I don't know much about dancing, so from a lay persons point of view - it's not all about how great the dancing is for me, it's how well a couple gel.
You could have two fantastic dancers, dancing together and they atmosphere could be awful. |

I agree with what you say about Connie in 'Maria'...couldn't connect with her at all.
Maybe I'm just biased as I've been a Camilla fan since she first appeared on the show and I think Ray's dishy. Maybe hormones are overruling common sense with relation to him LOL |

I particularly liked her partnership with James last year, she shows true passion for her dancing. I would really like her to do well because she's been soo near to the final before but never quite manages it.... Thats whats making me so annoyed about it. I want to like Ray and Camilla but I just can't seem too.... |

It's a pity that you don't 'get them' Jocko Homo - each to their own, I suppose.
I suppose I can't take to Erin as a dancer - never could, but I love Peter, so I kind of have to like her this time round. In my opinion, BOTH Camilla and Karen deserve to be in the final. |

Abbi was my favourite to win Maria too. In the end it was anyone but Connie. I don't really know why.
With Camilla and Ray....they are trying hard and working well but they do not gel like Camilla and James did. There was someting about the latter partnership that was better than all the rest to me. I hope we get to see them dance to-gether again! I think Mark and Karen will win. |

Yep James and Camilla had that 'spark' alright last year. Hope that Karen and Mark do well - she's such a great dancer and he's great to for a non-pro, not amind the fact that he's gorgeous.
I never took any notice of cricket, but I think I may have to now

Proving how she had more star quality in her little finger than most of the others put together. I think she's probably in a better position than even Connie in the long run really. Anyone but Siobhan for me... so overated. I knew Connie was the safe bet but I secretly wanted Helena to get it, the underdog thing I guess. Quote:

I think they will start to grow on me, I thought their Paso was very good, although it should have come third to Carol's effortless foxtrot Quote:

Jocko you make a good point about two cricketers winning one after the other - I hadn't thought of that.
Still though, I believe Karen should win. She's come close so often and she's a thorougly great dancer and such a lovely person that she deserves to win

I think she's one of the best pro's in the series plus I love the way she teaches and her quirky cheoreography. I fell in love with her and Ballroom Bill but knew I could never back them fully because he just wasn't good enough. I'm so pleased she has got such a fantastic partner this time round. And sorry for my last post going off topic but I do love my darling funny girl Abi so!

You're fine, I loved 'Something About Maria' too. In fact, I think I may need help for my reality t.v. 'addiction'.
Yes, Karen and Bill's 'partnership' last year was good, but he was never going to be a true contender for the final. They may have had their fans that got them through to the latter stages, but when it comes to final and semi final people do take the actually dancing into account. He was a lovely man, but just wasn't up for the job. I really do hope Mark hasn't peaked too soon...it would be such a shame if they fell early this year or at the last hurdle. Karen puts her heart and soul into the competition and deserves to do well. So, does Camilla in fact and I know I'm repeating myself, but I'd be happy if either of them won. |

I think Mark could win, and it would (IMO) be a shame if he didn't *just because it was 2 cricketers in a row* - if he wasn't good enough, or someone else captured the public's imagination more, that's one thing, but the guy can't help being a cricketer and happening to have some dancing talent too.

Fair point, Sarah.
The winner should be the best dancer, regardless of profession or previous winners
