I don't hold a candle for Brendan, but he was honest and spoke out against the biased judging tonight. Not content with marking him and Claire down because of his remarks, they had to bring it up again when asked for their opinions before voting closed.
Did you see how all the competitors agreed with Brendan, those at the top and those at the bottom. He speaks his mind and praise the Lord, he was not voted out for expressing his opinions. Is that a first/

It's all drama and SCD are losing the ratings to X-Factor, They're going to will milk it for all it's worth. It wouldn't surprise me if it was all staged....just like the wrestling thingy!

It certainly was telling - Brendan is so full of passion for the show. the judges full of passion for themselves, or rather three of the judges, with Arlene full of passion for any male who gives her a glance. sad.

I think the vast majority of people on this forum agree with what Brendan said tonight. He spoke up for all of them.

He certainly had a very valid point and because he was last to be judged tonight had sat through all their comments and eratic scoring. He made the point about them losing the plot before he had even been marked. God know what he thought when he saw Arlene's score of 4 which I thought was disgusting!

I'm, historically, not a Brendan lover, but he was excellent tonight and made some very good points. I'm involved in subjective marking and if we were as far apart as the judges tonight we would be sacked.

I hope they listen.

Well done to Brendan, but if the judges carry on like they were tonight, will any of hie fellow professionals have the courage to back him up. It's alright them cheering him on from back stage, but they need to come out in unision and give him some support.

I hope they listen.

I am also involved in subjective marking which is why I get so cross with the scores on this show (even if its only entertainment). I would be absolutely horrified if judges in my sport showed such discrepancy and what I see as a williness to disrespect the rules of the dance by some of the judges.

Of course, they are judging from slightly different perspectives. Of course they come from different dance backgrounds but a good ballroom dance or latin dance surely has technical steps; dance patterns; posture; that must be scored. Once they have been scored performance/flair is added on to get the final score.
