I think lots of people agree with Brendan, he had no need to swear though. I don't think he needs protecting, he loves female attention...

What he said was dead right but how and when he said it was dead wrong and unprofessional.

I also dont think he is doing his poor partner any favours and is probably ramping up her stress levels.

He should whinge in the press like everybody else or have a rant on ITT

Then who would listen!!!
Maybe it will give the judges a boot up the rear to look at the dancing rather than there own PERSONAL favorites!

Absolutely right.

Why should they get away with it?

Firstly talking about being unprofessional what about the judges, saying Brendan should leave, VERY unprofessional I think. Claire has already stated that if something needs saying she will say it, so I would think she agrees with him.
If he whinged in the press or on ITT who on eartj would take notice, it has been going on for far too long.

Brendan did the only think that would bring the matter to a head and possible get something done. He has the support of his fellow pros and celebs, and by the looks of it the support of people on here.

In my opinion he did the only thing he could do and all credit to him for standing up them, the judges think the show is all about them. They keep saying it is a dance comp, would they behave like it if they were judging a proper dance comp don't think so. If they want Brendan to take it like a proper dance comp then they should be prepared to as well.

rant over
Go Brendan

another thing that i find very unproffessional about the judges is that they seem to be judging brendan and his choreography and are forgetting that claires even there!

exactly! if they had done a filthy foxtrot len would have been the first to complain!...brendan was trying to do the dance right....and i think they did a very good job and that claire looked as elegant as any of the others!

the more i think about len's comment the more annoyed i get - from what i can tell, whatever brendan does he wants it to be the best it can be, and despite my lack of knowledge i'm pretty sure a foxtrot isn't supposed to be filth..craig's comments made sense, but len's was bound to cause offence

The boy did us proud! Someone said what needed saying and let's face it if any f the dancers were going to do it it was always going to be Brendan!

He was right and the fact that the judges called him unprofessional and then came out with their own comments in the results show is a serious case of pot calling kettle.

Everyone back stage appeared to agree Matt was cheering when they came in and Camilla was clapping at the monitor. He looked so hurt at Arlenes Love Island comments as well.

It's about time something was done about the judging cos it was farscial on Saturday

P.S when everyone else has had a squeeze can I have him PLEASE!!!

I am not saying I disagree with one word of what Brendan Cole said indeed it was me that started the "Pre Ordainded and Pre Judged" Thread.

But to say what he said "before" he was given his marks was not right

ALSO it is not fair on his partner who is stuck in the middle of all this as a spectator.

ALSO THEIR placings NOT everybody elses have been just about right Brendan and Claires performances have been adequate and nothing spectacular.

I was in the audience on Saturday night and Brendan & Claire got by far the biggest cheer when they got through.
He said what everyone else was thinking - and good on him. The other professionals & celebs were clearly supporting him (although Claire looked a bit peeved for a while - I think she thinks he's a loose cannon!).
Go Brendan!

hmmm..but don't they enter the scores on their keypads before the comments are made? (i'm not sure about this, just seems to be the case given what hs been said on here)..in which case it wasn't going to affect their scores on that night..and to have said it after getting the scores might have looked like he was complaining purely about himself and claire rather than the judges in general??
