Has anyone ever been prosecuted for doing it though? I doubt it.

I can't see anything wrong with copying Cd's to moblie devices, but I think they should crack down on people copying CD's and selling them on for profit.

There has been a few cases in the past where labels and tried to sue people for this but the courts have always gone in favour of the defendent.
