Not wanting to Emma bash but I suspect she got the CIN single on the condition she did SCD the BBC I reckon are very tough negotiators!

The above remark is not to start a argument - just my opinion!

That is your opinion, but i guess no one knows the truth behind that so can't really argument it. But I think if that was true then it's silly because Emma is doing a show which is what 12 weeks long she wouldnt do it just for a single, I dont think anyway.

Could be a complete stroke of genius of Emma's part the show gets near on 9 million views a week

Her singles are popping up on various music channels after SCD started (i've even downloaded a few myself from i-tunes)

There again she might be doin' it as she'd naff all on or anything planned at the time for the next twelve weeks.

Does anyone know any different?

totally agree i think she is doing it because its a great show to do and nothing at all to do with a new single coming out if i were a celeb and asked to do SCD i would jump at the chance

Me too - I have commented many times in the last few years that the only good thing about being a celeb (I'd hate to be famous...) would be the possibility of getting asked to go on SCD and learning to dance! LOL

Totally agree Tilly! That would be very naive to think that she would do that, just for single. I think that Emma just wanted to help CIN as much as possible and decided to take up a challenge. Good for her! Call em naive if you wish but its my opinion.

When she signed up a few months ago, I don't think her single was planned, and I assume she, and indeed ALL the other celebrities were able to commit 12 weeks to the programme, otherwise they would not be doing it obviously. I don't see how Emma is any different in that respect to any of the other celebrities.

Of course she wouldn't do this solely to promote a single. I am sure she would have enough outlets to do that. And why shouldn't she devote 12 weeks to learning a new skill, I admire all of them for trying to do that. I think most dance fans, given the chance of potentially training for 12 weeks with one of the countries top dancers and trainers would think it was a fabulous opportunity. Emma does have the ability to be a great dancer if she can commit the time to the training, she has natural rhythm, style and is a real performer, as is Louisa and increasingly Mark. Of course she doesn't dance perfectly, but she has time to perfect her technique and skill, so I would really like to see her given that chance.

Lets face it Emma and Darren arnt going to win as there is not as much hype as there are with some other couples like Karren and Mark for example

and not critised for every move she makes she is doing a wonderful job with a fantastic teacher and dancer and should be given the support they both need from the general pubic not all this nastiness and negative vibes

why are they not going to win?? they have just as much chance as everyone else has to go win

you dont need hype to win just dedicated fans which both emma and darren have

I don't think it is possible at this stage to say someone will win or won't win, there are too many variables which will affect the result. At this stage everyone who gets through to the next week has a chance to win!

I agree this series has a lot more competitiveness and a lot of fantastic dancers and some that are improving every week. Last year was unpredictable I think this year is even more. But to say they won't win is ridiculous as you don't know and they have good support.

Thats completely ridiculous to say that they won't win! They might well, and I hope they do! Its impossible to say if they will or not. The opinions of the people on this forum thankfully do not make up the opinions of the general public, who seem to like them!

Totally agree with you. For example people thought Spoony would do well, and he went out. It all depends on that performance on that saturday night, there's certinaly no 'clear winners' this year.

and also the voting public

spoony left with a respectable score of 28 so to how can anyone really say anything about who is going to win who is going to leave its totally rediculous to say anything coz the voting will and can change everything

Well, I have to say, I don't think every couple has equal chance to win at the moment. I'd say Mark and Karen are leading the way with public support, but there are other couples who can be equally good as them at dancing, but I'm not sure this will be good enough to win with the public.
olivej

how can you say that when jan and anton who were bottom of the leader board and got saved by the public vote and spoony and ola who were middle of the board got knocked out i dont think you can say mark and karen are leading the public vote at all i dont think we can clearly say for sure who is leading the public vote i think it changes constantly it could be emma and darren it could be vincent and louisa it could be matt and lilia who knows

I couldnt understand that ^^. A use of full stops might be a good idea?
Dancingles

Admittedly full stops on the above post would help, but considering some of the spelling and grammar on here, I think it is unfair to single one person out. Oh, and by the way, COULDN'T should have an apostrophe!!
