Here's the exact wording from Len Goodman about Brendan broke the rule in week 2 'Brendan, you have a screw loose' 'It's unnecessarily, stick to the rule'

Then in week 3 'Thank you very much Brendan for not breaking the rule'.

Week 4 'Stick to the dirty stuff and leave the elegant stuff to the others'(no mention of any technical aspects).

I can't think of anything more inconsistent. Apparently Len has a screw loose according to what he said 2 weeks ago!

I'm with you on this. I think Len is the Judge causing all the problems. He constantly interrupts the other judges, especially Arlene, who then quite rightly gets upset. He even interrupts her if she does agree with him, leaving her bewildered. "Isn't that what I just said?" she cried in Week 2.

Then, this week, after Brendan's outburst, he had the cheek to say that all 4 judges are different. He looks at technical stuff, Bruno and Craig look at the artistic choreography and Arlene looks at the passion. So if we are expected to accept 4 different opinions (and I have no problem with it) then why can't he?

I thought his comment "stick to the dirty stuff and leave the elgance to someone else", was rude beyond belief.

He's supposed to the Head Judge, but he's reducing the show to the X Factor.

'One swallow, a summer does not make' or sommat equally clever, yes I was dissappointed with Len on Saturday cos instead of saying who they thought should leave on the second show on Saturday, he and Arlene decided to get their own back at Brendan for, well, being Brendan, i.e. overreacting and trying to get his 'bad boy' crown back.

I could justify Len's comments mentioned by the OP, the first one, is pretty obvious, Brendan was a naughty boy, although in Brendan's defence he does say that in order to compete he has to 'bend' the rules to get the public vote.

The second one is fairly self explanatory. Saturday's comments seem to be the one's getting people upset. TO ME, an SCD and Len fan, but pretty hopeless at knowing really what is what, Len was saying that Brendan is not at his best with ballroom and a dificult dance like the Foxtrot, he is 'better' at the more expressive and visual display dances. OK not the best way of telling Brendan that, especially Brendan but it was for tv and but for a couple of dodgy marks, the judges could well have been told to 'spice it up' a bit and Brendan got the thin end of the wedge.

Sadly, I think all his success has gone to Len's head a bit

I swear all the judges were on crack on Sat night! What the hell was going on! There is NO WAY Georgie deserved an 8 for that foxtrot and telling Brendan to stick to the filth is ridiculous! Their foxtrot was amazing! SORT IT OUT JUDGES!

If Brendan had made the foxtrot "dirty" they would have moaned that it wasn't a proper foxtrot. But judging by Emma's overmarking, they weren't looking for a proper foxtrot anyway.

I respect Brendan for staying true to the dance and not using flasy tricks to get votes. He can't win with the judges, I understand his frustration.

I still think that was tactical voting in reverse ... all Georgina wanted was a 5 from Craig, and not to be in the bottom 2 - Craig gave her a 5 (let's face it, he couldn't really give her a higher score) and the 8 from Len ensured she was out of the bottom 2.

And it worked - she was out.
