Hi Guys,

Emma & Darren will be appearing on It Takes Two tomorrow night to discuss their Saturday night performance and their thoughts on Brendan Cole's outburst regarding the scoring systems employed by the Strictly judges.

It Takes Two would like your in-put in the form of questions you'd like Strictly's star couple to answer.

E-mail any questions to ittakestwo@bbc.co.uk

Many Thanks

Must admit, I was sitting here wondering how I missed the invites to ask questions of Mark and Karen, Carol and Matthew, Louisa and Vincent etc etc......

Certainly not the couple themselves! Has nobody got a sensible question they would like to ask, instead of turning this into yet another attack thread. Surely we have enough of those already, and its getting really boring.

And they'll sit there in a few weeks unable to understand why Emma lost out via the public vote

I don't think anyone is attacking Darren and Emma, what people are attacking is the quite frankly shocking bias of TPTB towards them - it's not D & E's fault, but they'll be the ones who suffer from a public backlash against the favouritism

no its just the bbc press focusing (and tess) on the main show getting louisa to say she votes for emma as shes the best!!! omg!!

adn to be honest nothing i would like to ask them!! they are quiet dull!

Technically they are the star couple. Emma Bunton is by far the most famous celebrity on the show, and possibly from all 4 seasons.

I agree with you Agent Krycek. But this is the nature of TV and the press - create controversy even where there is none, create aggro and interest to get people watching and sell copies. And unfortunately it works. I also don't feel that it will just be Emma and Darren who suffer from this, another couple of weeks they will probably move on to someone else, and they will suffer a backlash. Shame really, but that's life I suppose, and there will always be people who react to this hype unfortunately.

My questions are:

Do you think the fact that you are consistently scored at the top end of the table by the judges is going to harm your chances with the public vote, viewing you as "favourites" and therefore assuming you may not warrant or need the viewer support?

Darren, how does your partnership with Emma compare to that with Jill?

What is the atmosphere like backstage when some couples are scored higher than others? Have you had any bad feeling from the other dancers/contestants because of your high scoring?

Which dance are you most looking forward to doing?

Am not sure Darren would answer question 2, as he is a gentleman, and wouldn't knock Emmas confidence by rating Jill higher. The other questions are interesting though!

Thank you for asking Glitzyball.

I would like to know if Emma and Darren (particularly Darren as a professional dancer) feel that it is right for the judges to mark the dances down because of comments the competitors have made to them during the show.

I hope that makes sense.

Dorothy.

(Will also send this by e-mail)

Well as the video is tomorrow night, that is the logical night to have them on this week. I expect there will be another couple as well though. I think the later in the week you go on though, the more advantageous it is as you are fresher in the viewers minds.

is she on to talk about her dancing or to promote her new single??

Oh, I didn't mean that question to sound like he should rate them against each other. I thought he may say something like, Jill prefered the latin, whereas Emma likes the ballroom, or he might say Emma likes practicing right up until the last moment whereas Jill prefered to practice in the beginning and think about other stuff at the end - that kind of stuff.

Anyway, I don't want to put words in Darren's mouth!

Probably both. The single is in aid of CIN and has all the dancers on after all.

I hope she spends a lot of time promoting it as that means more money for CIN.

I've sent a couple of questions to the email address included here. I understand the frustration expressed by some that it would be nice to be given the opportunity to put questions to the other couples - not sure if they do or not, it would be nice to think you could - particularly following "Saturday Night Fever" (aka "BrendanGate").

Slightly off-topic, I didn't see yesterday's highlights show, did anyone else? Did the other pro dancers/celebs say anything about saturday night? I have several questions I'd like to put to all the couples.... aaargh! Oh well.

I don't think so - if we're talking international fame I would think that olympic gold medalists or cricket and rugby stars are more famous than a girl band who has a very limited age groupe following

I've been on these boards since about mid point of series 2 - and I can't ever remember seeing an invite to put questions before, ITT have been taking quotes from here, had FMs as one of the Monday panels etc since at least Series 3.

I'm not so sure actually. For example, I doubt anyone in America knows who any of our cricketers are, and given the number of top notch athletes, I doubt they are very aware of Colin Jackson types.

Whereas the Spice Girls were big there.

(And I just picked America as one example of a foreign country.)
