I know it kicked up a stink in that reality show but most of the phone money in SCD goes to Children In need and we are short one couple with the demise of Tarby and Flavia afterall

Would this be a good twist or when somebody has gone they are gone and not fair on the others who have stressed through all the weeks training.

Just an idea as everybody is saying Spoony / Ian or whoever went too soon.

This would happen after we are down to 4 or 5 couples

Channel 4 might get away with it, but I doubt the Beeb would.

I wish they would tell us what they are going to do. It was scheduled to finish 23rd December, and I can't imagine they would want to lose a week from it.

I wouldn't be averse to Spoony returning, but I don't know if it would happen, or work. It doesn't seem to work in BB.

Maybe they are planning an aggregate over two weeks sometime.

They must surely have had a contingency for such a thing happening

Should have brought another celeb in straight away.

CLAUDIA competing and FLAVIA doing ITT LOL

I thought it was finish on the 16th December, because last years was the 17th?

I thought that maybe they had planned a double elimination thingy but scrapped it when Jimmy left.

No. The remaining couples beat them fair and square. Why should anybody get a second bite at the cherry? This "Spoony went to soon" thing is getting weary.
Spoony went because people didn't vote for him. If all the people that moaned about him going actually voted for him at the time, then he'd still be there. No point in blaming those who voted for Jan or Georgina for Spoony's exit. People voted for whoever they wanted to stay. Peter was terrible this week and he's still there.
It's also a big assumption that Spoony would even win the "bring him/her back" vote. That could be won by anybody, especially the further it goes on.

I wouldn't link to see anyone voted back in. But if we *had* to, then IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN, IAN!

No no no no no and no again, it stank in BB and sorry it would be worse for SCD.

Oh gawd just had a dreadful thought, someone might suggest the judges get to award a get out of jail card one week.

H77 ducks for cover at that suggestion.

Nope, they shouldn't (and hopefully) wouldn't do it. Ian's one of my favs, but if he's gone, he's gone. Even if my favourite went out this weekend *has panic attack* I'd still say the same thing. The format shouldn't be messed with

I hope they wouldn't stoop so low as to have anyone back in .

Even if another of my favourites gets the boot , and there was a chance to get them back it would make the whole thing a bit worthless.

I just hope, as someone has already mentioned, that they don't wait until one of the big names faces the chop after a bad routine and then announce "surprise everyone...no one is leaving tonight!"

But that would smell so fishy. The logical time to do it was straight after Jimmy's decision, which would have saved Spoony. If they weren't going to do it then, springing it at a random time later in the series would just look like a fix.

Only if the vote includes previous years' contestants. (I know this would be unfair due to their experience.)

I know who I'd be re-dialling for (Jill Halfpenny and James Martin).
