Judges

I think we've all noticed that each judge is pretty much biased about a couple.

Craig being baised about emma & darren
Arlene being baised about mark & karen
Bruno being baised about louisa & vincent

But..

Is Len being baised about any couple because..i may have missed this but it seems as though he hasn't got a favourite which is a good thing or has he actually got one?

Len has got a favourite as much as the rest of them but

he is being much more canny about keeping it to himself

Len usually pretty spot on technically but didn't he say " There's my boy, Spoony"

Spoony!! Ah Bless! Would have liked to have seen more of him

I LIKE to think that Len has his favourites, but does not let that affect his judging or that his choice is based on dance ability and performance.

If Len has got his favourites he's smart enough not to go on about them in public.

I don't know if I'd call it bias - but his scores are over-inflated for whichever dancer is poorest on any night - usually Georgina. Don't think he ever scored her lower than 6 and she was streets worse than other celebs who struggle to get over 29 points (say, Carol and Matthew).

Yes I always thought that he had a little soft spot for Spoony, but he didn't make it obvious and it didn't really effect the marks.

But just because he doesn't seem to have a favourite doesn't make him perfect. He is far too soft on the worse dancers.

Len always favours the sportmen.

I find that Len always picks up on progress made from week to week.

This is why he scored Georgina well, since she had made enormous progress with her Foxtrot, compared to the abominal Jive and even worse Rumba.

In fairness to Len he said that when specifically prompted to pick a favourite after the group swing dance, unlike Craig & his "you know what I think of you" to Emma, or Arlene and her "loss of perspective".

But I do wish spoony could have stayed ~ bags & bags of potential!

That seems silly. All a dancer has to do is be pathetic in the first couple of shows, then Len will score them 6 (as that's the lowest he ever goes), and then they can make a miraculous improvement and they'll be rolling in Len's 9's as they've "improved". Mind you, if you happen to be a good dancer naturally, you'll get 8's in the first few weeks, and if you happen to slip up slightly in subsequent weeks (but still remain better than the worst dancers), Len's score for you will slip slide into a 6. Bizarre!

Hate to say this but mayb it's time to take the x factor route and have comments from the judges but leave the result down to the public vote.

I honestly don't think the it would change the outcome much as seen when Spoony went when he was well up the board that way it will weed out the favourtism element.
