How are they going to solve the problem of Tarby leaving ?
The show must finish on the scheduled date so they Beeb must have a solution up their sleeve to the problem of Tarby leaving. Has anyone worked out whether a couple leaves every week (no double evictions like in Maria ?) which would leave one week without an eviction.... I cannot in a million years see them bringing back evicted competitors as this would cause a row, so what will they do, any suggestions ?

makes sense.... perhaps they'll do 4 dances as in series 1 including one chosen by the public to try and soothe the savage beasts

I always think it's best to have a final with 3 couples and then one goes half way through, that way it doesn't feel as much of a done deal as it might with !2 couples, I'm interested to see how this pans out.

Do we know that there wasn't a 'surprise' double eviction planned somewhere along the way which has now been shelved or not?

As of now, the plans are definitely to still have 3 couples in the final...as to how they will sort it out, I don't even think the BBC have decided yet!

Another scenario
If Emma or Louisa or Mark actually fell over and landed on their respective pretty little noses during the dance, that would be the week there'd be - surprise surprise - no couple voted off. Wot, me? Cynical? Shuuuuurely not. Note - I do not want any of them to do that. Not at all. But I think the favouritism from the judges is getting so far beyond ridiculous now as to be not even funny any more. Mind, if Mark fell over, that would be the least of his worries, because he'd be smothered and probably crushed to death by ladies wanting to kiss him better. Led by Arlene Phillips. And me. ( )

Ther's no reason in the world why this programme couldn't finish a week early, but it won't because the BBC's first priority is to beat ITV on Saturday night's ratings.
They could schedule a film or another repeat of OFAH for the problem week, it'd hardly be a unusual, would it? They did promise an "exciting twist" when Tarby went out prematurely, but I think they've realised that the "Surprise! Surprise! No one goes out this week!" ploy would be met with derision. We'll have to wait and see. 'cos there's been no announcement yet. The simplest solution would be a "two week" final with two dances for all three couples in each and "points" carried over to the second week. It works for European Cup football matches, doesn't it? |

( ) I definately don't want someone voted back in, but I'd probably go for the two in the final, doing more dances. The 'two week' final is a good idea, but if there's no elimination I think they'd worry about loosing viewers for the result show, which usually gets better figures then the main show. |

Personally, I think the best thing to do with the spare week created by JT leaving, is to have another, one week competition. The Celebs are Craig, Arelene, Len, Bruno, Bruce and Tess. The judges are Brendan, Camilla with probably Karen or Lillia and maybe Anton or James or Ian.
I think this would be fun, give the pro's a chance to get their own back at the judges and, from the BBCs point of view, be guaranteed to get ratings. Nick |

P.S. Or, as Jill was probably the best celeb we've had, bring her back as a non pro, guest judge for the one week.

I would not be surprised if they had got together on this so they can both finish early and have Christmas progs on the 23rd |
