Hi Res Screens and 1:1 PC pixel ratio
Can someone explain to me what the score is with running a high res. LCD TV screen e.g. 1920x1080 at native resolution from a PC?
I have yet to find a large TV (over 37") that will allow this, please let me know if you know different. Is it a technical restriction? I would have thought that it should be easy as the panel would not have to process the signal at all. TIA |

If a HD display as a resolution of 1920*1080 then if you feed it 1080i over a suitable connection then that is what you will see. There may be limitations on some of the analogue inputs (VGA or Component) but both DVI and HDMI should be ok assuming you also have the right frequency (50hz/60hz etc).
