I wonder if anybody knows the dances for Saturday?

And possibly the coming weeks?

Saturday seems to be salsa for the girls and V.waltz for the boys. I've read that the weekend after that will be waltz and samba. Beyond that, who knows? Because the boys and girls both did different dances in their first weeks, the order will go a bit screwy so and the gender split will likely have to go.

I think that makes a bit more sense, since neither of those has been done already, while the boys have already done the waltz - and it would make sense if they then started mixing up the dances.

Think would certainly make more sense but I definitely read it was waltz and samba. At least that's what the producers must have told the tv guide people.

I think the gist of it is no one really knows what's going on.

Not much of what the BBC does makes sense, anyway Just have to wait and see, I suppose!

Now I know that it's the Salsa and the V. Waltz this Saturday because I know many things.

Annnnnnd...because I know "Many things" I know that I don't know which dances are yet to come but hey, I like surprises at any rate so I say bring em' on.

Since Louisa did Foxtrot last week, it is possible that she may have Samba this week. And since Ray and Matt did Paso Doble, they may have V Waltz, as that would mean they weren't doing two latin/ballroom dances in a row.

But you never know.

We already have several doing two of the same kind in a row, so I guess they're not worrying too much about that at the moment?

I know. It makes sense because the figures add up (sort of), so I thought it was a possible theory. But I don't know.

Trying to continue my 100% record of incorrectly second-guessing SCD.

Cumulative scores

Top Three
Emma - V. Walz
Mark - Salsa

Louisa - Salsa

Middle Three
Ray - V. Waltz
Carol - Salsa
Matt - Salsa

Bottom Three
Peter - V. Waltz
Claire - Salsa

Jan - V. Waltz

Bold is known dances. This has dancers with similar scores dancing different dances and also has the same gender celebrities dancing different dances - clever hah

Tis funny how the BBC said this week was the salsa and the American Smooth and now they've changed it to the Viennese Waltz!

Think Peter has benefitted greatly from only having to dance one latin in the first 5 weeks. Any other year, and he would have had to do at least 2 latins by now, which he is just awful at!

In the Strictly Sophia column on Anton and Erin's site it says that Erin and Peter are doing the V. Waltz and Anton and Jan didn't know what they were doing (although hopefully they do now!)

Hurray
Just proves eventually everyone can get a prediction right. Got to rush back to Carol's thread with my choccie biscuits and warm drinks. Don't worry the fluffy blankets are on the way Erinfan, Lydiaa and Hann4h.
