I was trying to use t'internet this morning and the only pages I could access were google and bits of the BBC. Pretty much anything else threw INSTANT network errors (not your usual unavailable or not found errors!). Anyone else?

Yes, same at my place. I did call Homechoice that said that it is a problem with all US based internet providers and therefore all the American websites are down (that's why BBC and Google UK were working), apparently it's all sorted now...

Indeed, it wasn't a dns issue, just that homechoice's routing to the other side of the pond was a bit b0rked.

Homechoice use Level 3 for most of their connectivity still, they are their sole transit provider.

Is everyones MSN messenger working correctly now? It returned earlier in the day but hasn't been able to sign in for several hours now. I also only have limited internet access, is it just me?

I can't view about 30% of sites at the moment - both UK and US (mainly US) - been down for the past three hours. Anyone else having similar problems?

(doesn't seem to be a DNS problem though - think it's routing - as if I change the DNS servers to something else the problem doesn't go away)

My internet seems superfast.........perhaps it's because other people are have connection problems........no problem connecting to any sites here

Seems to be mended now. Strangely I found it superfast for the sites that were working... anyway...
