I haven't voted yet either! There's no-one who's really rocked my world so far this series. I liked Spoony as I thought he had potential & went out far too soon, and I'm liking Karen & Mark, but I've never been one to have a "favourite" professional or celeb, when I do vote I vote for the best dance on the night. But so far I haven't been blown away. I probably would have voted for Mark & Karen's paso on saturday, but I was out of the country so didn't see it till monday night.

Oddly enough there's some people that I started out liking that I've got less interested in as the weeks have gone by (Jan, for example).

I thought it was supposed to be couples you aren't keen on and don't know why ... everyone seems to have plenty of reasons!

Mine would be Camilla and Ray... I can't even think of a reason why. There are a couple of others who irritate me, but for specific reasons. With Ray, even though he's doing good dances, getting good marks (and also not overmarked)... I just feel quite indifferent to him.

I don't think I'm alone though- he's fairly low down in the favourite dancer poll on here, but also fairly low down on the BBC poll for who you'd most like to leave. Seems like most people don't remember him either way!

Matt - gives off the vibe that he doesn't want to be there.
Louisa - 'I'm so cute and young' is begining to grate
Jan - the face she pulls during the elimination is seriously getting on my wick

I think a lot of posters (but not all) have misunderstood the point of this thread. It's to name the couples you aren't keen on but don't know why. But a lot of people are saying "I don't like XXX and YYY because of the faces they pull/not training hard enough/too competitive" which means you do know why!

I think as she becomes more confident technically, Matthew will step up the choreography. He seems to be working with his partner - not showcasing himself or overpowering her with too complicated choreography (unfortunately this approach will only work if she is given time to improve). Keep watching ........

There is always a reason why you don't like someone, it may not be a valid reason just a face pull or a throw away comment. if you like them to begin with you tend to forget the minor points. But I didn't take to them to start with and don't know why.

To be honest I don't identify with any of them this year- unlike last year were there were quite a few- a more appealing range I think of celebs- guess it's just a case of what ever floats your boat.

So can't take to, and for no particular reason as such, Mark and Matt.

I can't take to Mark... he's too quiet for me to really like... I love Karen though!

I can't warm to Claire and liked Matt Dawson on A Question of Sport, but find him a bit too intense on SCD.. On the other hand loving Mark (not a cricket fan so didn't know much about him before), Peter, Jan and Carol too. The rest are just making up the numbers!!

After a while, though, it becomes a bit dull hearing the same names mentioned and no reasons given. Perhaps when people come to type the names, it makes them consider their feelings about the individuals more carefully. I think threads should be allowed to evolve naturally without some posters making excitable accusations of 'bashing', don't you?

Karen - everyone seems to adore her but I just don't understand....

I guess, but all threads seem to evolve in the same way - criticising the judges or certain couples.

You don't have to just put names, I talked about why I should like Carol and Matthew but that I didn't. Then someone responded and said I should watch some diary Carol does to see if that changed my mind, and gave reasons as to why I may not find them exciiting, which I found very useful.

Anyway, I'm not saying everyone should respond in the way I did, just that it is possible to have a constructive thread without making comments about people pulling "weird faces" etc.

Darren - It is not that I don't like him (after all I have never met him). It is just that I do sometimes think he comes across as a bit too desperate and…….boring. I also think it is difficult because at the start of the competition Emma was reported to be the favourite to win (which is actually the kiss of death)........it could just be the way they are portrayed on the show so I am trying not to be too biased.

James - (and I am trying not to be too negative here) I really didn’t like - and I know exactly why!!!

Brendon - I didn’t like in series one but now I think he is outstanding entertainment value.

So you can change and I am trying not to dislike any of them too much.

Actually, this year I find I'm not that fussed about any of them. It's not that I don't like them - it's just that I find them all a bit ho-hum.

At the minute there are 4 or 5 that are potential finalists/winners to me and it wouldn't bother me who won - and I wouldn't be that fussed for any of the contestants to win.

Like I say, I don't dislike them - I'm just ambivilant - which is probably worse!

Don't like Vincent - he comes across as a bit of a slime ball - and surprised that they paired Louisa up with him and I don't like her as she plays up too much on the "I'm only 17..." for all her mistakes. She should look at some of the kids thay have on SCD sometimes - age has nothing to do with it...

Mine would be:

Mark - He's nice enough but there's just no sparkle there for me. I really can't see what all the fuss is about.

Emma and Louisa - Probably just a personality thing. They both come across as quite 'girlie' girls and since that's not a personality trait I like in people in RL I find it hard to warm to them.

Matt - He's just kind of...there....Maybe it's because he doesn't have the chemistry with Lilia that Aled and even Darren did so it notices more.

I don't actually dislike anyone in the competition. It's just those lot I'm rather amibivalent towards. I don't particularly care either way in they stay or go.

You got the wrong idea, I don't want to bash anyone. I'm more perturbed about why I can't take to some dancers/celebs when on the surface I feel that I should.

Also, it seems I'm not the only one to feel this way, so it's obvioulsy not pointless.

I'm sure your intention was not to bash people when you started the thread and many of us have people that we don't like. However, I do agree with xxgraciex because inevitably this kind of thread tends to result in arguments as people mention names of couples they don't like and their supporters feel the need to defend them.
