No Votes From Judges
I wonder if we could have one week with the judges having no votes, so having no influence on the eliminations
They could give opinions on who had had given a good/bad performance but the public would have the final say. Would this improve or detract form the show J |

I'm not sure about that. It would totally expose who is the least popular with the public. That would be soul destroying for some of the celebs. And would turn it into more of a popularity contest than it is already.

I agree with Loulabelle, it could backfire horribly, even though it would be interesting to see what would happen.

I cant see the point as you cant get eliminated or win for that matter without the support of the GBP

If we pretty much knew where the public vote was going it would take away any surprise in the result shows for later episodes. The unknown factor of the public vote is what allows those shock exits to be shocks.

As the weeks go on - it does actually become easier to work out how the public voted, when you are given the Points from the judges votes (from X down to 1) and you know who the bottom 2 are on any given night...
Anyone here any good at Sudoku???? |

Like most people here I actually like the current format and wouldn’t want it to change. I think the mix of both the public and judges voting, while not without some problems, is generally much fairer and more interesting than either one alone. I also think that since the public are paying for the privilege of voting they should have the slight advantage.
