Parranetly, it's "Soul Limbo", better known as the music for Test Match Special.
edit: ....... and apparently just mentioning Mark salsa-ing inhibits my ability to spell or type. Sorry.

Ahh, oh right, I thought someone *knew*
If the music is bad, I fully intend to watch with the sound turned off and enjoy it anyway

I was really hoping for a sexy salsa and that music makes me think of Richie Benaud, Tony Lewis and Geoffrey Boycott!! |

Not a clue, but Mark loves it!
I don't know where the Soul Limbo rumours came from, but I do like that tune - whether or not for a salsa I don't know, but I am making like Bon Jovi, and Keeping the faith!!

Thank goodness someone else hates it - everyone is raving about it in the Mark and Karen thread (except me!).
And me! And I'm a cricket fan, but don't like that tune. LOL

You mean there's a hope that it might not be that dreadful tune?
Off topic completely, but how rubbish is the BBC official SCD website? They should have information like this available on there. But they can't even manage to get pictures from all the shows on there yet. |

Just found the original post - maryjay said "I think the music he is dancing to will be Soul Limbo by Booker T and the MGs"
I think we all just took it as gospel and ran with it LOL. Now I really want to know what they're dancing to! I'm neither here nor there with that tune - never heard it in full before today (or indeed, even knew that it had a name beyond "test match special" theme) I have no idea whether it would be good for salsa or not, either. Just going to have to trust Karen! |

Eleanor Rigby IMO didn't have the passion and drama needed for the tango.
The dance was fabulous though. |
