true, but it seems that no-one has the answer to my original question so we may aswell talk amongst ourselves until we have a definitive reply from someone in the know.

Who does Mark Ramprakash play cricket for anyway ? I have to confess to never having heard of him before the show..

Funny rule that, I imagine it is because there are a lot of swear words shorter than 10 characters !

I don't know how significant the word 'song' was when, re the salsa music, Karen said something along the lines of 'it's a song with special meaning for/means a lot to Mark'.

Perhaps it is 10cc - Cricket, lovely cricket!

I fear this is a virus thay seems to have affected more than half the forum, at the very mention of the word 'Mark' seemingly too many members lose all reasoning and any adult abilities.

*Steps forward hanging head*

It was me that first brought up that it might be that music, it was reading between the lines of what Karen said on Tuesday, about it being music that everyone would know would be close to Mark's heart - can't think of anything else. I really like it, and my OH who can actually Salsa reckons it could work really well, but if the training footage is anything to go by I don't think I'll even hear the tune on Saturday. Damm that man can move

I don't think you can salsa to 10cc's Dreadlock Holiday. Good tune though.

Seems to be happening out in the "real world" too!

NO! Is it really! I joked that it would be when I saw Karen mention it on ITT, but I didn't really think it would be.

Hhhhm, I'll reserve judgement til I see it, it might work, I suppose. Although Mark dancing to the sound of a dripping tap would be hypnotic enough....

Jeez, I'd even watch Mark dancing to Ronan Keating

I'd watch Mark dance to anything, including James Blunt because, I would have the sound off.

hehehehe

At least Karen has some taste - I just saw a thread on TXF forum saying they should have a Stock Aitken and Waterman theme week - "the greatest songwriters of all time"

So, am I to believe that the music choice still remains a mystery then ? Perhaps we will find out more on ITT this evening..... We will have the behind the scenes commentator guy (I think) to give us his views and perhaps we might get some training footage with music...... can't wait.

My post was designed to explain what "Soul Limbo" was for the uninitiated, not to confirm that that is what they will be dancing to. I've just heard the rumour like everybody else, and am hoping against hope that it isn't true!!
