Since when did Jamie+Sonya listen to Will Young?

I was surprised when Sonya sed that it was going to be played at the wedding- I'd never heard them listen to it. Infact, I don't think it's ever been played in Eastenders.

I was surprised and groaned when Evergreen wafted out the CD player, it seemed like a very "easy" choice for the writers/producers. But I don't think it suited Sonai and Jamie at all, apart from anything else Sonia and Jamie were split up when this became a hit. They only got together very recently, and suddenly adopted this as "their song"? Can you imagine if Phil heard Jamie played Will Young songs over and over, he'd have beaten him up way before the Lisa incident! If it were me, I would have checked the books to see roughly when Sonia and Jamie first started dating or sleeping together and picked a well known chart song/love theme from that time.

It was just one of those easy tricks to tug the heart strings. Like texting Jamie in heaven .... PLEASE! It's the equivalent of those ghastly American shows where children with curly hair and gaps in their teeth go round asking if mummy's in heaven with the angels.

The funeral was great - "I think we ought to get going in a few minutes". Excuse me? They're not like weddings where the bride can turn up late. Whenever I've been to a funeral it's like a conveyor belt - one coffin goes out the back door as the next one comes in the front. Hadn't the undertakers got anything else to do that day?

I was quite happy to be moved by it all until she sent that text message.

I assume Jamie's phone is still lying around somewhere. If I was Phil Mitchell I'd get hold of it and start texting her back to really drive the poor cow loopy.

LOL - you ARE Evil, Eva!

I've never seen her OR Jamie walking round with a CD player. So do you think she already had batteries in it, or did she stop off at the shop on the way to the church?

Will Young was OK for the Church but at the graveside when they lowered the coffin, did she play the Countdown jingle.

I'm surprised the BBC didn't take the chance to push David Sneddon given his hit single is out next week.

So - Multiple awards for Sonia then come the next round of soap awards?
