Sky Eye & LCD = Bad Picture Plz Help
we have just got a 32" Evesham HD LCD from Netto. We have sky but the box is upstairs so we use a sky eye to get signal to the downstairs TV. I just cannot get a good reception on it. I get lines down the picture, shadowing and a haze on solid colours on screen. It is amost like interference.
I have changed the RF channel between 52 & 32 but still no better although its sometimes improves. What is the best channel to use? (I am in liverpool using winter hill reception) Is there anything else i can try? |

so you have tried ALL the channels between 52 & 32? You could try 21-32 and 52-69 yet?

could be that the tv does not like the tv link, some tv's dont. try turning off the rf2 power and removing the link, if you still get interfeerence try disconnecting th aerial from the sky box so there is simply a single cable from the sky box to the tv.
What type of cable do you have? is it a sheilded cable? CT100 or equivalent? ifs its just a cheap thin cable it could be picking up interfeerence from some other electrical device. if none of those sugestions fix the problem you could get a wireless av sender instead which uses the scart or phono av sockets on the tv |
