He didn't see the twins for years, has all but forgotten about Adam and never mentions his son by hairdresser Denise.
THEN rather than have a go at Dev for sleeping with Deidre - he warns him not to abuse adopted daughter Tracy. (Perhaps he feels some compassion for Dev sleeping with his missus)
