Who did the speech to say thanks for voting when EastEnders won best serial drama?
Last year and in the Britsh Soap Awards, People were always fed up of Barbara Windsor doing the thank you speech. Was it her last night or was it someone who had a big role.

So it was her again? I wonder if Perry Fenwick would have had a go since he had a big storyline recently.

It's because she's the most well-known character.

I don't think they were there. Barbara's speech was as always great. |

Babs is also probably the most used to public speaking. |

I'm sure they prefer her to do it, and during the years Babs wasn't there, Rudolph Walker (Patrick) did the speeches.
I think Babs does them well. She's very gracious and sincere. |

Babs did it but she did praise all the other soaps, which I found nice.

I think the EE cast were very gracious in their win, no major throwing themselves in the air and lording over the others in the category that were nominated.
Babs did a fine job with her speech and I found it particularly pleasant that she congratulated all the other soaps for being fantastic as well. |

If Corrie won, Who would have done the speech? I remember Mike Baldwin did it in 2004 as well as Sam Aston who plays Cheesy

Pam St. Clement, Wendy Richards and June Brown never show their faces at these awards, unless they're up for one individually.
