Samsung LE32R72BD any good?

Anyone have a Samsung LE32R72BD or know what its like? Its £849 at Currys, but Richer Sounds are selling the Samsung LE32R72BDX (what appears to be the same model but with an X at the end?) as Currys for £799.

I was looking at this in Currys lunchtime and it looked far superior to most of the other LCD's. I seriously tempted to treat myself as a Christmas pressie! Thoughts?

I bought the LE32R74BDX afew months ago for £799 so Im surprised it hasent come down in price yet, in the "samsung R7" thread there are loads of special codes that you can put into the dixons/currys website that will take like 30% off there oridginal price, plus another code that matches there lowest price-matching they have.. so It might be worth a look there.

As for the TV... its great, definatly puts the lower end of the sony bravias to shame (not the top end 1080P ones obviously there about 3times the price). But hooked upto a xbox 360 with the VGA cable at the displays native resolution (1366x768) looks stunning. It even has a "game-mode" that is calibrated for use with the 360 and reduces the response time to 8ms.

Definatly a good TV.

Well pleased with my LE40R7. The only comment is that only 1 HDMI input is a bind

My R74BDX is great- although i wish i had just waited another 6months or so to see what happens with LED Backlights and 1080p resolutions.

The R74 Does suffer from motion lag- something reported in most professional reviews of the TV. It cant deal with horizontal movement very well and skin tones can look wax like.. especially when moving.

Get the Sony or Toshiba.. they are fairing much better and have 2HDMI.

HDMI switch boxes are coming down in price now as more and more bits of kit start to use this type of connection, for example you can get a 2 port HDMI switch box from CPC.co.uk for £30 http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSea...sp?SKU=AV13369

and the price of there HDMI leads are unbelievable...! http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSea...sp?SKU=AV13618

Less than £6.50..!! or gold ended for £10..!!
