Mmm - noticed it last week, and must say it has a nasty habit of diverting my attention from whatever conversation is going on in the kitchen at the time. It's been driving me mad trying to work out - is it?? isn't it?? it can't be!!!!!! - There was a great shot last week, when it briefly looked like it was sprouting from the top of Deirdre's head.

Finally (and rather boringly) came to the conclusion that it's actually a lobster mould thingy (you know for making posh lobster shaped mousses etc) - although what Ken and Deirdre use it for is another matter. Perhaps it belongs to Blanche.....

Heh I noticed that a few weeks ago and every time I see it I have to make some lewd comment. I don't care what it actually is, it looks rude and therefore it = funny.

Yep, it's commonly known as the "Phallic Jelly Mould", description originally coined yonks ago by Mike Plowman who writes the Corrie episode updates, along with screen captures. I think the updates are officially sanctioned by Granada now as I think Mike gets preview copies of each episode so that the update for a particularly episode can be posted on the web very soon after the episode airs. The guy has got a great turn of phrase.

Yes, I'm old enough to remember unfortunately! Sexy specs (as she was known in those days) had Tracy with her first husband, Ray Langton. Ken adopted her when they got married. Although Ray is still alive and working in Holland ... Amazed he's never come back.
