Anyone else read the article in "The Mirror" today? Is it just glorious gossip or is there a ring of truth to it - now that is the question!!!!

Probably the press exageration as usual. I take no notice of these reports in tabloids to be honest. Last week it was supposedly Anton and Jan having major rows and as they said it was just a brief episode in a whole week. I expect this is exactly the same. They are all bound to have brief moments when they get frustrated and upset, and I expect it has happened to all the couples. Would imagine this is no different.

As the saying goes though "no smoke without fire"

As I said, they may have had a brief falling out - I expect they all have. But these things usually last minutes rather than days, and the press is always going to overplay things. So she got frustrated and left for the day, so what?? I wouldn't get too worried about a paragraph in a tabloid. Next week it will someone else!

The "falling out" between Georgina and her partner got a lot of coverage on SCDT2.

It would be as well to remember that probably all couples have their "moments," much of which will be recorded on tape at practice sessions.
What we see however, is entirely what the programme producer wants us to see and they can include more or less of this footage, depending on what "image" of individual couples they want to project.

The vast amount of footage which must be available to them is evident to those who notice, by the edited "montage" of clips shown at the conclusion of the five programes each week.

"No smoke without fire" is a bit of a dangerous cliche.

Till anyone has further proof, it's probably safe to assume it's highly exagerated!

Given the methods the Mirror have used to get stories on Strictly, I'd take anything they write with a pinch of salt. The reality is virtually all the couples have petty arguments due to the amount of time they spend together and the stress of performing and being judged live every week.

Well, this should make all the people who have been saying Emma is too bland a bit happier! Some of them were saying she should be a bit more fiery! Or maybe not, the new criticism will be that now she moans too much. She really cant win.

In a cynical way-I would think it is Emma's turn for a bit of extra publicity after Brendan's tantrum and Jan's tantrum.....

Well she is only human and feeling the pressure. Quite honestly I find that more attractive than the plastic smiling Spice Girl. She is doing her best and some of the judges comments were not as adoring and complimentary as the previous weeks have been. Perhaps she feels that the competition is not in the bag, as she may have thought in the beginning. I can remember Darren and Jill having the odd clash (when he called her a hippo, or something during rehearsals!!). Darren is very competitive and wants to win, I am amazed sometimes at how frantic the professional dancers get about winning the competition. I am looking forward to tonights show!! Go Mark Go!! AND Brendan!!

Even although it is the Mirror..... there must be some basic foundation to the story. The VW is extremely hard so I'm not surprised if she's finding it difficult but it's certainly not "stupid" and I'm sure millions of people would agree.

It's what the great majority of the GBP would call "proper dancing"

Emma told Jonathan Ross on radio 2 this morning she considered her main rivals as Louisa and Mark.

You know, we get that you hate her. You don't have to keep repeating yourself. It's getting rather tiresome now.

Why are people being so anti Emma. Look right this is the Mirror we are talking about here they'll do anything if it makes a good story and a bit friction.
I doubt Emma would be like that, and even she did; other celebrities get away with it. No one is like this when Brendan has a tantrum, yet suddenly Emma has a bad day and everyone jumps on her. We all have bad days and changing moods, so to be honest i don't see the point to this at all. Yes thre VW is extremely difficult, hence why she may have got in a mood with it. Its understandable. To anyone who thinks she is doing this for publicity, i doubt she'd be that shallow. Sorry if thats ounds harsh and 'upsets' anyone

Has this turned into yet another Emma bashing thread? Because I really can't be bothered to read, it's that boring... just here to defend them... very much doubt it was a publicity stunt, people are so quick to think the worst... tut tut tut

If the story came from the mirror I'd take it with a salt mine - not just a pinch!
If Emma did have a tantrum then good on her! She is the centre of Brendan-gate.
Lets not celeb bash - its not nice!
Lets leave that kind of behaviour to the X-Factor crowd!

Intrestingly it was not the focus on the VT prior to them dancing....it's not the image that the producers want us to have on her
