This Emma bashing is actually getting beyond a joke now, if you don't like her, and I'm not a fan myself, then fair enough, but please make your points valid and in relation to her dancing, the girl can do no right in some people's eye and its ridiculous.
Louisa has also had a melt down before a show, Georgina has stand up rows with James, Jan had a crying fit, I'd lay good money that every partnership, even including the lovely Peter and Erin have had some sort of row - Emma's is picked up on because she's the best known of the celebs, the 'face' of SCD this year if you like, Zoe was the best known last year and had a similar level of press interest during the series. Emma is also promoting the CIN single, but as far as I know she's not responsible for the edit the BBC put together before a dance, neither does she edit national newspapers to choose what goes in them. There must have been many hours of Georgina and James getting on great during training, can't remember anyone complaining that they weren't shown, the BBC pick an angle and go with it - hardly the fault of any of the celebs. |

Yeah Emma would have no say in anything said or done about her and her single... All she can do is grit her teeth and get on like she has been and I respect her for that (which is the first time I've EVER respected a spice girl...)...

Whatever falling out they had, or did not have, during the week, it obviously worked, because their VW was beautiful. I would be willing to bet there is not a single couple who have participated in the SCD series over nearly 4 years, who have not had arguments, some more than others, depending on termperament of course. I would also point out that the professional couples also say they argue while training, and that is only natural, you can't work with someone over a length of time for hours each day without having disagreements. So I really don't think this is an issue at all.

It's just really unfair on the poor girl. |

Emma is going up in my estimation BECAUSE of the the bashing she is getting - as far as I can see she has done very little, if anything to deserve such animosity.
My only ever criticism of her (and it was only my opinion), was that she seems quite dull in her routines. I can still see that she is a competent dancer, though. The way she was jumping up and down applauding when Karen and Mark got off the stage last night too was very endearing - I don't think she is a nasty person, and seems to want others to do well. Just my tenpence worth! |

Before I start this post, I neither like or dislike Emma.... I'm not that fussed about her one way or they other, okay ? Quote:

Agree with Fi 100% (seems to be a theme today)
And she does genuinely seem to be enjoying and applauding others' performances: I'm fairly sure I've seen variations on the jumping up and down clapping/clapping lots/grinning hugely theme for many of the dancers. |

Now.....That works both ways, I'm afraid. A lot of Emma supporters can get extremely upset and read "bashing" into the slightest of comments. They need to calm down a bit as well and ignore the stuff they don't like rather than keep it going by posting tit-for-tat slagging articles. That kind of behaviour only adds fuel to the fire and you all may damage her cause more than necessary. |
