Zoe Ball doing the group samba tonight
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone/listings...4223&DAY=today
Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly present the show, with a live performance from Jamiroquai, and a stunning group samba featuring last year's finalist Zoe Ball. Bit of a blast from the past. It would appear that Zoe is doing the samba with pros in the 2nd show tonight. |

Does that indicate the Samba is one of next weeks dances?

The samba is one of next weeks dances. Can't say I am impressed if Zoe is really joining the professionals, I would far rather see them dance and show how it should be done, than have a celebritiy join them. I do hope this isn't a new trend personally.

Oh no! Why can't they leave it to the professionals! (I'm sorry that sounds so negative, but really not taken with the idea as the pro bit is my favourite part of the whole show!)

I don't understand who she's going to dance with though cos Ian will be dancing with Camilla presumably. I'm not very impressed, can see it spoiling my favourite moment of SCD.

What's the point of that?
If they're going to do a pro group dance, they should leave it to the pros only. I don't see why they need to add any celebrities. |

Zoe was my favourite last year, but I agree leave the pro dance to the pros.

I think Camilla's one of the best dancers so i hope she's still involved, rather than just having Zoe in her place.

My main question would be 'what's the point?'. The whole purpose of the pro dances is to show how it can and should be done by professionals. If they have to tone the routine down because a celeb is involved, doesn't that defeat the purpose? Zoe's a very good celeb dancer but she doesn't have the talent and experience of the pros.

That's ridiculous. All credit to Zoe for what she achieved in a few months, but she could never begin to compare to the talents of the professionals. These professional dances are one of the highlights of the whole show for me, I can't believe they could spoil it like that.

^ what they said. I want to see the best possible in the exhibition dances - Zoe was good, but she's not a professional dancer.

Aparently Ian choreographed it!! That would make sense! I have faith it won't be as disasterous as we all think.....

I'm not saying it'll be disastrous - but it's not what the pro dance is there for IMO

I agree - its the professionals showcase, leave it to them. This will make Zoe the centre of attention................and she's so last year!

Bloody stupid idea, only reason I can think of that would make sense is if Camilla has an injury and needs to rest as much as poss. And it's seriously depressing and sad if she does
