I really think that Zoe held her own last night and good cheography that made her make a good exit just in time for the tempo to lift as not to make her look foolish when the professionals do what they do best. Well done Zoe and stop listening to the negative nellies who still seem to hold a grudge from last year.

No, I don't think anyone has explained why we had to have that! Just some suggestions that it is preparing us for her taking over presenting the programme next year, although I don't see the rationale of that argument myself. I do hope this is a one off. I think it does matter if time is taken away from the professionals, who otherwise would have individual sections as couples. AndI liked Zoe last year btw.

I still have very happy memories of their brilliant show dance.

Zoe and Ian were my favourites last year, and I was pleased to see her last night. I'm not at all averse to other alumni appearing in the show dance - occasionaly, anyway.

Was that Zoe? Sorry didn't recognise her without her hanky.

I really thought it was an awful idea. I mean - she was completely out of her depth and why oh why did the BBC even ask her?

She didn't win - wasn't the best celebrity dancer that SCD has ever had - and to be honest it just smacked of desperation.

I thought Zoe and Ian were an excellent couple last year, but that was the whole point - they were part of last year's SCD....

Nat xx

PS I think Karen and Brendan are head and shoulders above the rest of the professionals....and so does my mum!! And as we know mum's are always right!!!

They ARE fantastic but I think there might be a bit of a challenge from Team Cutler on that one..... Matt & Nicole are superb !!!

They're second in my book - thought the showdance they did together (last week? week before?) was amazing...

I'm a Brendan girl though - that boy can do no wrong in my eyes!

Exactly!

Sad that after all this time people still hold a strange grudge over Zoe. I doubt people would have been quite so 'up in arms' had Colin, Darren or James danced instead.

I don't hold a grudge - I just would rather have seen Camilla dance.

It's not a grudge against Zoe. It's the principle of the thing. Her contribution was so small it was pointless. Either do the whole dance or leave it all to the professionals.

I don't have a grudge against Zoe, if they want to bring back dancers from old series they could do a special show for it. But the professional dance is just that - professional. She was out of place.
