Hey all

Am looking to get a dvd recorder which also supports divx playback. My budget is around £100 to £150 but i can go to £200 if necessary.

Also would be interested if there are divx recorders out there and any within my budget range

Thanks

I bought the LG DR7800 around six months ago and have had no problems whatsoever with it. If I remember correctly I paid around £200 from Richer Sounds, but looking on PriceRunner it seems to be a lot cheaper now.

It plays DivX files perfectly, and the recording quality is great (although I must confess that I only use it occasionally for archiving from Sky+)

Cheers,
Me4

The LG looks all right and the price is good too. Just wondering if there are any other ones out there.

I have the Philips DVDR 3380 - works great on DivX's i've made myself, BUT can be rubbish on downloaded ones (but then again my Eltax also gradually loses audio Sync on those too - as does WMP)

I download a lot of Divx Movies so need one that is very reliable on divx playback. What i also be interested is in a good dvd recorder which also supports HDMI as well as divx
