He keeps telling the judges to start concentrating on Claire, But he keeps stealing her limelite by acting like a big kid and getting stroppy. Claire is giving her all in the dances and it's not fair on her to be stuck with Brendan as a partner. She must be having an awful strictly experience !

Bad dress, bad dance.
I understand it as a backlash, but a better choreographed backlash would have been better. However, being told to change your routine at the eleventh hour is no great thing for anyone. I have sympathy with Claire. |

I have some sympathy with the last minute changes, but we found it embarassing to watch.

Brendan and Claire definetly deserve to go this week. I just fear that the great british public will do the "bottom of the leaderboard" sympathy vote and they'll be back next week to throw more toys out the pram.

It's funny, eventhough everyone know that they were told to change whole thing 24 hours ago, people still criticse them for not performing a great dance.
I think Clare did a great job, considering she only got such a short time to learn and to perform a new dance. Lots of other dancers got the whole week and still forget the routine. For those who didn't listen to the commentary, both commentator think they did a good job. Bear in mind that they did pointed out a few mistakes made by other couples which show they are not there to praise everyone. For this reason, I'm more convinced by them rather than the judges' score. |

I'd like them to stay in one more week, do a fab dance, prove the judges wrong, and then leave on a high like Georgie did.

I thought on the whole it was a good dance, but there was a lack of some basic salsa steps.
Nut you've got to remember they had to basically rework their entire routine at the last minute cause the producers said it was too rauncy for the time. but Brendan could've given claire a lot more to do instead of giving himself all the main bits and having Claire look like an assistant. |

I think they were rubbish and should go, but they won't. The Brendan Brigade will vote him in again.
On another forum, it was reported that he was going out with Abi Titmus and someone said... 'Brendan who?'.... Quite. Last edited by Tasi : 04-11-2006 at 19:48. |

He is a tremendous dancer, but tonights performance was not good (imo) I have said on another forum that they were praised for what Georgina was criticised for in week one - all posing and no dancing. This totally described claire this evening. I think they have a good chance of being in to bottom two this evening. |

Claire and Brendan from the first weeks performance were up there with the favourites but have got worse every week. (Opposite of Matt and Carol in fact who looked very shakey but is now a dark horse)

Brendan is such a drama queen! Their routine REALLY wasn't very good at all!!! All they did was walk! He needs to get a grip!

Well I teach and dance salsa, and I wouldn't have recognised that as a salsa routine. Brendan cannot complain about the marking this week surely, especially if he watches it back and compares it to the other couples.

I know nothing about dance, but as a viewer I thought it was very boring. Some dances captivate me all i remember of this is that Claire has nice legs and seemed to walk about a lot.
i have got a feeling though since the beginning Brendan has an ulterior motive- Do they get paid more on the american show?Definetly would get him more fame |

I agree with you all. I am really disappointed in Brendan. You are right, he is a drama queen, storming off and not by Claire's side for the vote. I think someone here has rightly said that Brendan is preparing for being voted off tonight. As I see it, they had to tone down the wandering hands situation of their routine, which doesnt mean have to change it all at the last minute.
Brendan had the look of let's get on with it then and could have just folded his arms and stood there while Claire walked up and down in a very unsexy way. I'll say it again, I thought their costumes were horrible and the music like a strangulated cat, who could dance sexily to that, i ask you? |

one day to start again is really a bit much to ask to do a different routine |

I feel sorry for him - he can't win ( and I don't just mean the competition) The judges tell him it's not what they want so he gives them what they want only to be told by the producers that it's too much for early sat night so he changes it then the judges complain again, no wonder he's p****d off I would be too! The salsa was not great by any shakes but the producers have seen footage all week from the training room and surely they could have told them much sooner that it maybe too much sex for pre 9pm. I'd like them to stay as it seems the SCD powers that be are out to get them even Tess joined in tonight! |
