Does anyone else agree that Tess' comment about Darren & Emma's score - when she turned to Brendan and asked if it was OK with him was bang out of order???

Personally I think she should be sacked. No matter what happens between the judges and the dancers, the compere's should remain impartial and be there for support.

Tess' remark was totally out of order and she should not be permitted to get away with it.

I noticed that Brendan disappeared again following her remark so I wonder if he really is full to bursting now??

Brendan and Claire deserve to be bottom this week but I think Tess was totally out of order.

That annoyed me so much.

There was no need for her to do that.

Ironic that the clip showed Emma saying that Brendan shouldn't of commented on her performance and then Tess encourages Brendan to do that exact thing!

I wonder if the whole thing of Brendan being in camera shot was staged by the Producers anyway. It was noticed that he disappeared after and wasn't to be seen again til the end of the show when they were all lined up.

It was way out of line..... they should be trying to diffuse all this rubbish, not stir it up all over again.

But then that wouldn't help their falling ratings, would it

totally agree - but then again showing the VT of Emma going on about Brendans issue with her scores of last week shouldn't have been shown either!

I'm no fan of Tess, though I wouldn't say she should be sacked- I think she probably meant it as a joke that came out wrong.

I think it was probably more of an "open mouth, insert foot" moment for her when she realised what she'd said!

Very possibly but as a compere she should be professional enough not to let her tongue slip..

Wrong, and unnecessary.

Mind you, I think Tess isn't the best at interviewing.
Particularly in the results show. She just talks over the guests.

A sad attempt to get some interest into the show.

I agree.

The show has really deteriorated this year in this respect which is such a shame because the quality of the celebs is by far the best so far.

I have a feeling the producers wanted to stitch him up today . I mean, from the intro, they made it look like Clare did not agree with his outburst last week which is far from the truth

Agreed - though it did sound out of order, she did do a little face when she realised how it sounded. Brendan looked well annoyed though!

I think Tess was trying to find a way to point out that brendan was back and also show him how the other dances felt when he brought them into his "arguement" last week

I'm not a Tess fan but to be honest I dont think she meant it malicously. However I did feel very sorry for Brendan who seems to be getting the short straw at the moment.

Only because the BBC know how to push him, and then they push him and don't stop.

Yes! I think the whole show today was staged against Brendan. Just look at the way Bruno was trying to rile him into a confrontation

It wasn't her place to do it though.

It sounds like she really took a big bite outta Brendan... Its not fair... She should just leave him alone no matter what she meant it as... 4 series of Brendan Cole she should know what he's like...

Aye, I do agree- it was a very ill advised comment to make and she should have known better. I definitely believe she meant it as a (rather bad) joke though, and didn't mean it in a malicious way.

Certainly she shouldn't have said it (on camera at least, due to her position as the impartial host), but I really don't think she was trying to stir anything intentionally.

I think if anything it will hopefully make her think before she speaks in future

I think we'll see Zoe Ball doing Tess's job next series.

Well, she's not the sharpest knife in the box is she? I think she was trying to be witty and it backed fired.
