That's my region too ~ wonder why we get "missed off" the show circuit?

Thanks for the link, Stella Street. But yeesh, didn't like that one little bit! Nothing at all against Hanna & her partner, but it seemed more like a circus act than dancing to me. Very impressive (and terrifying at times!) but not my cup of tea. And some of the leg positions were distinctly inelegant.

I know, it's so unfair. My city is Sunderland so yeah absolutely nothing remotely dancey happens lol.

I get what you're saying about Hanna and Victor, I much much much preferred her latin and I sort of wish she was still doing it but it wouldn't be the same if it wasn't with Paul, but I like her new stuff as well.

Yeah - I didn't like that much either - the routine they did on SCD1 was better than that, and I don't think they'd been dancing together very long at that point.

Victor seems to get an impressive amount of content into his routines, but in everything I've seen, it ends up with a lot of the moves looking untidy and unfinished. On the basis of that performance, I find it hard to believe they beat the Savoys at Blackpool.

I don't think the moves ever look untidy or unfinished! Their performances are always very polished imo. The routine they did on Strictly wasn't half as good as the stuff they are doing now I don't think.

 The judges obviously agree with you. But based on what I've seen, I prefer the Savoys, or the Iouvilovs, or David/Vivienne. I personally have quite a preference for the purer lifts over the tempo stuff, which may have something to do with it.
