Samsung D500 screen

Hello,

I accidently trodden on my Samsung D500 whilst it was in my school blazer pocket (silly I know).

The screen is damaged, the damage is visable when the phone is on and off, when the phone is on most of the screen is white and most of the text cannot be read.

The layer on top of the screen is not damaged (I think).

Is it likely to be just the screen that is damaged or the connecting ribbon or cable aswell?

Is there any place that do official Samsung screen's cheap, because of what I have looked at on the internet they are £37.99 - £50?

Thanks,
Stephen.

most likley just the screen but i always change the ribbon when i strip these as they give a lot of problems when they have been used a while due to constant flexing and they are only £2
the screens are expensive because there is a shortage of them

its not hard to do when youve done a few
only soldering is 2 connectors for screen lights
there is a video here for dismantling in the help section
