From what i can recall

- Craig goes up to Jan and Jan turns away and walks off.
- Jans husband started to push Craig.

So are we going to believe that Jan's partner actually assaulted Craig just because Craig tells us he did?

I doubt he'd risk making it up, and he didn't exactly claim assault from what I've heard.......

He did not have to mention the term "assault"! What he is claiming happened falls under the definition of assault.

He'd be risking legal action if he made it up. There would have been witnesses either way.

I doubt he would risk it. He ain't that stupid.

From what the papers say Jans husband just kinda held or pushed Craig in the chest for him to back off? I don't really think it's assault, but wasn't really needed. (a bit much when its a tv programme for charity!)

The Sun quotes Craig as using the words "physical attack". If physical attack is not assault, I don't know what assault is!

I think my problem with that sentence is summed up in the words "The Sun quotes"...

Whatever Craig actually said, I doubt he'd risk his job by making up an attack that didn't happen. But it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the tabloids misquoted, exagerated, and generally made stuff up.

but it wasn't the judges voted her out (third last on the night) - it was the viewing public who must have voted in far greater numbers for Matt and Brendon!!!!

It's either you believe the whole story or don't believe any part of it!

If you can believe that Craig would not make up the story for fear of legal action, then you should be prepared to believe that The Sun would not attribute a quote to him for fear of thesame legal action!

From the mirror:

Revel Horwood said: "She was upset, so I went over to tell her how well she had done over the weeks and thank her for doing it for Children in Need.

"But she didn't want to know and turned on me, then stormed off, so I went to try and calm things down.

"That's when her partner stepped in and started telling me to back away, he was pushing me in the chest. It was like a physical assault."

One eyewitness said: "It was obvious Jan was upset and some of the things Craig had said had clearly got to her.

This has all got rather pathetic. Whatever may or may not be true, they need to all grow up and get over it. I thought Jan would have had more sense than this.

Jan needs to remember that it isn't solely down to the Judges who gets kicked out on the night. They only award their marks and its left to the viewers to decide the rest of the vote.

... and the judges placed her higher and gave her more points than the public did.

Jan spoke in a voice akinned with i'm choked up/about to burst into tears, she had a go at the judges (as we all know). Her next sentence was in her normal voice-far too quickly in dispelling choked up voice. She came across as an actress and bitter. Shame on you Jan!”

That's exactly what my family thought.

A delightful show, it was back to normal, and ruined at the end by that bitter 'hope your happy'.

It was unwarranted. As if Craig giving her a 6 would have made any difference.

It just made her look stupid, really.
She probably thought it made her look really witty and funny.....not

A real downer and it had been such a great show up until then.

Arlene's face...I was actually agreeing with her. After all who else would have gone.

I used to like Jan in Dead Ringers on radio and tv, but I'm afraid I've gone right off her after witnessing her unsporting behaviour on SCD. Sily silly woman. As if it was all the fault of Craig that she was booted off.

No Jan the reason you were booted off is because you are not very good at dancing and people did not warm to your personality. Well done for trying though.

Did it occur to any of you out there that Craig/Arlene and Bruno are choreographers and must surely be looking for their next punter. i.e. Emma Bunton could definitely be one.

I'm so 'off' Jan Ravens at the moment I really don't want her to do the backstage report next Monday, far rather they gave it to Anton. I just want her association with the show at an end, I now dislike her more then I did Fiona Phillips, at least she had a sense of humour about the whole thing.

(and yes, I am taking it all far too seriously )

Maybe she is going through the menopause. She seems to have lost both her sense of humour and her sense of proportion.

I've known a few menopausal women but so far none of them has been quite as self-destructive and deluded as Jan.

It may be logical to think that if you dance better than the previous week, your score should be higher, but Jan was being scored against how the others danced on the night, not against her previous score.

Yes Jan raised her game on Saturday, but so did everyone else.
