Personally, I thought the subtitle under Victoria's name was hilarious 'Former Spice Girl and Emma's Friend' Maybe I'm just easily amused

Quote:
“My only problem with it was wondering why Posh felt the need to dress up like the Queen delivering the Christmas day message to record a 15 second bit of film”

LMHO, too right!

Pretty sure she's in the UK at the moment, promoting some book

Book?

You may be right.

One of those where you have to connect all the dots?

Or is that her one on fashion "faux pas" where a national newspaper selected a dozen comments of fashion mistakes she advises; "you shouldn't make" and showed a similar number of photos of her, makin' em'?

I think it was Darren. I think she appeared a lot because she was funny: the producers know a good gimmick when they see it.

Can I ask what is so wrong with showing a friend of Emma giving support?? They often show friends of celebs either on VT's on in the studio audience and I think it is lovely

Why do so many of you think Victoria giving Emma support is so wrong?

Its the conspiracy theories on here that are so hysterically funny!

They're right up there with the 'twin towers'/who killed Marilyn/who shot Kennedy/did Elvis really die etc ones!

Well you can get BBC via the infernal wickedness of Sky in Madrid......

It was such a surprise that Posh came out in support of Emma - my feeling was the same as if someone had remarked on the greenness of the grass or the greyness of the sky

Do they all not have messages shown from family, kids, friends, colleagues on a soap etc.? If Emma and Victoria have remained friends, why shouldn't she have a message of support? So she is well-known, she is still a friend.

Posh backs Bunton to win 'Come Dancing'
Sunday, November 5 2006, 12:46 UTC - by Daniel Kilkelly

Emma Bunton has revealed that Victoria Beckham is backing her to win Strictly Come Dancing.

The singer is thrilled that her old Spice Girls pal has taken the time to send her messages of support before her performances each week.

"Victoria's been so supportive. She's been sending me flowers and told me she thinks I can win," Emma told The People. "Even though she's mostly in Spain, she always remembers to get in touch.

"It means so much when your friends are there to encourage and support you. She's a busy mum and has so much else going on in her life but we do what we can and keep each other posted with what's going on in our lives, not just the big things.

"I'm hoping she'll come and see me in the show. She's said that she wants to come - and the other girls are going to come down soon too."

Now if Alex and the Man U team turn up for Schmiecle...........
DIY SOS/Changing Rooms for Carol...........
England Cricketers for Ramps.............
Cast of Coronation Street for Ray (O no thats ITV)
Cast of Eastenders for Louise.........
etc etc

then I'll believe theres no ploy involved...........

I believe Darren Gough was there week 3 supporting mark, the cast of eastenders are in the audience every week if you look,as were cast member of Casualty when Georgina was in it. Last year, the England cricket team members did a video message from Pakistan for Darren Gough, so none of this is unique or new is it? I expect most of Emmas friends do date from her spice girl days, or in the entertainment business, so all of them would be criticised for appearing no doubt. Quite apart from any excuse to blame her for all the troubles in the world, it would appear she is allowed no friends either now.

I do hope when lawrence llewellyn bowen makes his appearance, Carol will attract similar remarks!!

Tuffers was there for Mark last week - they had a little bit from him in the training, and him punching the air at the end of the Paso.

Ah, but apparently, Emma's the devil incarnate, Dancingles!!!

I'm waiting for the next spate of terrible weather or natural disaster etc. Because you just know that in some way, Emma will be responsible for it!!!!

You can't beat a good ol' ridiculous "sweeping statement" to make an impression can you?

Doghouse I know you dont like her but surely we cant blame her for everything - judges favouritism, CIN single (conflict of interest apparently) and now being supported by her friends.
Deary me - what a terrible woman she is!

Tuffers, Eamon Holmes and all the other comparisons barely relate to the high profile 'Posh' has!.........as repugnant as I find her-she is one of the most photographed and recognised women of our 'celebrity' obsessed world.....magazines want her on the covers because she 'sells' (Lord know why ) and as far as I'm concerned she's been wheeled in to 'sell' Emma.........if she had an ounce of sense which is obviously lacking......she would have left it to the wealth of true freinds - or even family - or even Jade/Damage could have recorded a message for her, Sporty offered her support on ITT (on condition she plugged her record!)....it will backfire.....it will not create the support Emma needs.

Support is already diminishing if the poll on this forum is anything to go by.........
