Camerawork and Tess's dress better
miaviv

I think the powers that be must look at this forum as the camerawork and Tess's dress were much better this week. Glad to know that we have perhaps done some good by going on and on about these subjects.

Agree with that- also felt the music/ band were much improved.

Now all they need to do is replace the judges and we'll have VICTORY !!!

At last, my licence fee put to good use

We got a lot more "footwork" shots from the camera's too.

The camera work had its moments here and there but all in all was better.

Tess's dress was a thousand times better than normal. Finally they've dressed her in something flattering.

I definately agree about Tess's dress, as soon as she came on my mum and i both said 'thats much better' at the same time her dresses have been awful but tonights was a big improvement.

The camera work was far better. The over head shots were far better than those sweeping around the dancers.
Jaykay was fantastic, how brilliant to have an artist there just to perform not to promote !
Tess is still wearing those shiny fabrics, but the dress was far better.
As for the judges, I think they feel too smugly comfortable in their roles for my liking. They each need to remember no one person is irreplaceable.

I wish i could agree about the dress. i thought she looked like a satin toilet roll, i love her and want her to look as great as she can, but I thought tonight's dress was no better than last weeks, well maybe a bit.. The top half was fuller on one side than the other and made her look big. the neckline was unflattering, what more can i say. yes it was better than last week but still a long way to go.

I didn't notice the camera work which probably means it had improved - I only tend to notice it when it's so bad that it becomes distracting.

As for Tess' dress, erm, maybe an improvement with regards to the colour but otherwise it still hung off her like a dish cloth.

The band/singers weren't any better. I thought they really murdered "Goodbye My Lover" at the end and I'm not even a Blunt fan!

The judges seemed to have had a talking to. I felt they were trying to be more moderate in their comments and were given a bit more time to explain themselves (at least at the beginning, maybe less so as the programme began to run out of time). There was till some bias there but less blatant than last week and overall the marks were about right.

Much better on all counts- it was a great show and I thought Tess looked beautiful. I even thought the judges had improved!

Tess's dress definately better and the camera work was much improved apart from Lousia's dance, the bit right at the begining was twirling around so much i got motion sickness! but it did settle down after that

I can live without all the spinning camerawork on the fleckles, though...

It's enough to make you seasick.

Hey - agree camerawork was better - theres been a discussion and campaign on this under -"A Campaign To Stop The Rubbish Camera Work Ruining The Live Shows! "

Check it out for info on how to complain and try and get even better camera shots! All these discussions seem to be workinG!!!!!

NO I may not agree with some pf the personal comments they make but leave the judges alone.

Camera work better, yes, however there was one moment when it was spinning round and round without letting us see the feet - I think during Mark and Karen? (Don't hold me to that though, not sure!)

It was 50% better( the camera work) now let's go for the other 50% and have a still camera that shows all the dancers ALL the time.

Ground breaking stuff I know but they managed it in black & white in the olden days.

That old clip they keep showing of Len dancing shows both dancers from head to toe...and no spinning!WOW!

There were few bad moments
the start of carols dance and during D and L cha cha. They completely focused on the back of their dresses, like a complete close-up for ages. Didn't look right!
