I am so pleased that Claire and Brendan are still in the competition. Brendan is a fabulous dancer and a great personality even if he sometimes goes over the top. He has a good partnership with Claire. i don't know why thier Salsa was not good tonight and I don't care. i say lets move on now and see what they can do next week. it was a shame to lose anton but i feel that Brendan with Claire can go much further than Jan and anton.
Judging by the look of relief on Brendan's face i feel sure he's going to put the past behind him and produce some great stuff for us to enjoy.

i agree - i think they should just draw a line under the Brendan v Judges saga and lets concentrate on the dancing. Shame to see Jan and Anton go but it was probably their time. Brendan and Claire to go next week.

I sincerely hope we see some of the great dancing Brendan is capable of and see how Claire can really dance without any stupidity from the judges. Back to something approaching normality this week: I hope it lasts. Even if they went out next week, I think it was good in the whole scheme of things that they lived to fight another day, and overall (even if maybe not for tonight) it was the right result.

They're not one of my favourite couples but I think/hope there's something yet to come from them, and I couldn't say the same about Jan.

I was madly voting for both couples tonight. I had a feeling that they would both be in the bottom two and didn't want either to leave.

I am glad though that Brendan stayed in - I'm wondering how much they had to redo their routine if the BBC said they had to tone it down so it may have been a bit of a rush job. That said Brendan has made his point and hopefully a truce will now be made between him and the judges and next week all will be nice and calm again.

Here's to showing the pair both at their best next week

Agree, judging by what Len said and Brendan's response it looks like the tension between them has eased and hopefully they'll not be so biased as last week when Clare and Brendan do a great job. Their foxtrot was great, so as their rumba so you can't say they didn't perform. Let's hope they perform well and be recognised.

He was - but where did he disappear off to after their scores...although have to admit that I was rather shocked after the comments as thought the marks would be higher...but we don't want another discussion on that!!

Thought Jan made the point well though...

I'm really glad that Brendan and Claire stayed in the competition. For me it wouldn't be the same without him. He's a fantastic dancer and I hope he can show everyone next week what they are capable of. Having to change their routine at the last minute must have been a nightmare for them

I also thought he did very well and it must have been difficult for him at times - given some of the comments that were made to him.... I also thought Claire did well (especially given some of the comments) and was quite funny with the Peter Stringfellow remark.

Brendon is a fantastic dancer and I hope we see a better routine from them both next week.
