What exactly did he say about Jan and her bloke's reaction afterwards??? Surely I'm reading this wrong and he didn't attack Craig physically???

I always loved Craig and thought he was the best judge, until he proved himself incapable of even the most deserved criticism of his favourites - first Zoe last year and now Emma. He freely says that she's clearly fantastic, when a couple of her dances have been really pedestrian. He's losing my respect fast.

All we got from it was that he was pushing Craig around... How far it got I don't know - but Craig didn't seem impressed at all!

He said that Jan wouldn't speak to him and ran off, and then her man had a go and was pushing him on the shoulders. I can see that Jan's fella must have been hurt by watching Jan struggle and then get panned every week, but his reaction was definitely not acceptable.

For those that missed it, Craig gave a few tasty morsels in his interview this morning on BBC2.

He said that Jan's husband/boyfriend was quite rough with him last night after the results show in the bar and actually pushed him.

He reckons that Brendan is seeking attention by being controversial. He hinted that he missed the notoriety that he got on Love Island this summer and was trying to stir up interest in himself once again.

He reckoned that Claire King was one of the worst dancers in the competition at the moment.

Juicy stuff eh

Re Jan, he also got a few subtile digs in at the end, mentioning that Fiona Phillips was the worst female dancer, but she'd been a complete sport about it. Jan's really not coming out of this very well at the moment, ITT tomorrow night should be interesting

Amen, he's a sweetheart!

I tried to donate ages ago but it wouldn't let me, but it means that because I only did it this week, I get a heli-ted. My nephew will probably be the beneficiary!

Anyway, back on topic...

Sounds like Craig was... well... Craig lol

Suprise suprise one of the judges gets unessecarily personal. Now that's unproffessional in my book.

I did think it was funny but cruel, the story he told about Arlene falling over one of the studio lights. I don't think she'll appreciate that! Plus didn't he say that Bruno was getting ropey because he's tired and travelling so much with 'Dancing With the Starts'? Pretty rude, with maybe a hint of bitterness?

Absolute and utter rubbish........anyone who watched LI knows that's not how Brendan operates.

These "judges" are really making a mockery of their position........if they can't stop making personal (not professional) comments then they shouldn't be judges.

Regarding Jan....... the remark to Craig was unneccessary but she was obviously very angry and upset.......a lethal combination.
If she blanked him in the bar......again understandable in the heat of the moment.

Husband's/boyfriend's behaviour however...... if true was totally unacceptable.

I watched Love Island and i agree with you that he is not an attention seeker, he is just very competitive. If he thinks someone is being unfair or rude he will say something about it and not just ignore it.

Not going to do Jan's rep much good if Craig's comments are true....yes it must be really upsetting to be knocked out but I think she had wound herself up (or someone else had wound her up) about the scoring and it was all too much for her.

Makes you wonder if everything in training has been all sweetness and light or whether there were more of the tantrums...

yeah, didn't CV slag Arlene off HUGE styleee in the press after she was kicked off? I hope Jan doesn't do the same - not only does it let her and the show down, but also lets down Anton who has managed to stay dignified and silent despite the sometimes not very good dancing AND the huge strop the other week. Where other pros (James for example) would have just gone off the handle he stayed calm despite being faced with a hysterical woman!

I agree with you 100% Fairygirl

I don't consider Brendan an attention seeker. He is very competitive which he admits to and does when necessary speak his mind when he feels the need.

Jan's husband was out of order for man-handling Criag though no matter how upset he felt

I liked the combination of Jan and Anton in the beginning, but after her tantrum in the training room - poor Anton was just trying to make her feel good - I started disliking her attitude. Her behaviour towards the jury last night was horrible and if what CRH told this morning did really happen - and I see no reason why he should lie - I think she should be ashamed of herself. SCD is an entertainment show! She is an actress so she has to understand the jurors are acting mean - just to spice up the show. And she even didn't get the worst comments. And her husband attacking CRH with their sons present (they were in the audience after all)... that's really bad in my opinion. Mind you, I would like to hear her version of this story.

Hopefully on It Takes Two she will give her version of the story, as i would like to know what happened.

What are the chances that Jan will admit her husband did push Craig?

Seems to me that some of the judges, if not all, have a problem with Brendan's popularity, and that he should dare to appear on a rival channel, in a second rate tv series, but come out of it well, and with new supporters.

I did not see the programme on BBC2 this morning, but if CRH mentioned Love Island, and we all know about Arlene's bitter reference to it last week, it all seems like sour grapes to me.

Brendan is passionate about his dancing, in fact anything that he does, and as a result, he likes things to be right. Any sign of deviation from that, he will speak out, and rightly so. If another professional had said the things that Brendan said, it would all have been received very differently, but most have no backbone, and it suits some people to continuously mention "Bad Boy Brendan", when in fact the core of what he was saying is true. Most people can see that as time has gone on.

I have met the man, and even though I do not claim to know him, I can only speak as I find. He is an absolute gent, and is nothing like the media would have you believe. The judges have 'issues' with him, and how they see their role, and quite frankly, the BBC should sort out all of the judges, not just one or two.

I also believe that Brendan has outgrown the show. Much as I love to see him on tv, I think he cannot possibly be enjoying the experience anymore, so why put himself through it. Some people on there, perhaps have less choices available, CRH included (no matter what they claim to the media), but Brendan needs to move on, and leave them all to get on with it. I feel the same about Anton - I think he too, is looking less than happy with his SCD experiences of late.
