I wouldnt normally be so personal. But Arlene started it.

What is she thinking? What is she saying? She has lost all dignity and become a laughing stock.
She's the only woman on the team- for goodness sake get a grip Arlene. You are a professional judge.
Behave like one.
The men are not much better, but really it's time for her to go.

For a minute there, my jaw dropped at the idea that this might be an appreciation thread, but I am somewhat relieved to see it's not. She makes me cringe with a majority of the stuff she comes out with tbh.

And do her and Bruno have a competition to see who can out-metaphor the other every week?

If she has to be on my screen, then gag her, and just let her have the paddles!

I was suprised to see how well behaved she was last night - by her standards of previous weeks, she was almot nun-like! Mind you what we didn't see was the bucket nder her chair catching the drool as Mark and Karen danced! Liked the way Bruce handled things, making jokes at the judges expense

Bruce definately showed what an old pro he is last night - kept things running perfectly!

Brucie was good last night! Especially when M & K had to restart, he kept a light hearted approach to everything

Arlene is an utter embarrassment. Can't believe she actually said the other week 'I lose all perspective when you dance' - well you're a pretty useless judge then!

I thought Brucie was the star of the show last night with the easy way he handled a difficult situation. Don't know what the BBC will do if he ever retires - they just don't make them like that any more!

Yes, yes, yes!

Though she was reasonably well behaved last night - maybe the beeb have told her to keep a lid on it!

Exactly, my mum said the same thing, so much so she wants to contact him to tell him so, does anyone know how to?

I like the idea of gagging Arlene, but can we also tie her up with rope, suspend her from the ceiling, and give the professionals paddles to spank her with instead? It would be more SS&M than SCD, but I doubt that there would many complaints...

This ridiculous post menopausal (and post by a good couple of decades by the look of her) woman, is giving a bad impression of ALL middle aged woman.

And while I’m on a rant, why on earth doesn’t she do something about her hair? It’s getting thinner each series and the split ends are taking over. As a dancer she must know that image is everything. Surely she could afford to put herself in the hands of a good, preferably female, hairdresser (she’d be all over a male one like a cheap suit. Her hair needs cutting styling and a much softer dye colour

At 62 years of age you would have thought that the women would have learnt some dignity by now. I wonder what Brendan thinks about the idea of Salsa-ing with her, not sure that Arlene is his type, or anyone else's for that matter.

Got to admit to being a bit sick of the obvious favouritism being shown to some of the couples, the lack of professionalism from all of the judges at times is a distraction from the amazing dancing that is being done by ALL of the remaining couples. I and the missus took up dance over a year ago and I only wish I was a tenth as good as the SCD team. I only hope that if we ever get good enough to compete that the judging will be of a more consistent standard, or that the female judges like me as much, the scores would be better but I am not sure the wife would be impressed. What must Mark’s wife think!!!

Yes,I thought so too and he had irritated me with his out dated sexist jokes for quite a while now.But I thought the referee's whistle and the mic incident were good. He's better with out the autocue.

arelne's behaviour at times really is quirte shocking. i just don't see how she can think it is ok to say the things she does about mark especially when his wife and children are in the audience. if i was his wife i wouldn't stand for it.

I've noticed her hair this year, mainly because I'm having the same problem myself (I'm just one year younger than her). Mine is down to trauma caused by a major operation, followed by severe anaemia, but I think hers might be due to the fact she's lost a lot of weight in a short time. In an effort to do something about my own hair, I've become quite an expert on hair loss in women, and sudden weight loss is one of the major causes. It's also very dry if you've noticed - as is mine. Looks more like cotton wool than hair! Thing is, don't blame her too much for this because I can assure you there's not a lot you can do about it except take plenty of protein (which hair is mad of) and wait.

Yep, that bothers me a bit ~ its a bit sleazzy when his family (especially his kids) are sitting across the room.

Maybe Arlene's hair is looking thin cos Mrs Mark pulled a few handfuls of it out in a between shows b*tch-slap??

Very sleazy.

She seemed in general a bit restrained last night... well... for Arlene. Maybe she got her wrists slapped by the Beeb.

I just can't stand Arlene - shes so awkward and ALSO she's so desperate to let everyone know she still has a sex life - we get it!

She drawls over all the men - if the men did it over the women it would be revolting (Arlene is revolting!)

Calm down and just judge!
