How often do you do the dvd Coody Mow?No wonder you say it shifts weight. Will move the furnitue before I try again.Might move further then and work up more of a sweat!!

Force Ten, it only make the knee squeal once and I probably was moving leg wrong to try and get the steps!!Did my own steps a fair few times.

I am sitting here giggling having realised I'll NEVER be a dancer of any sort.lol.No need to go embarrass myself in public then.he he.”

You just made me crack up!

My first time doing this DVD I kept going completely wrong so just boinged like Tigger around the room, laughing my head off and shouting...'Never will I ever be able to dance! How do they do it on SCD!!!! This is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!'

(God knows what the neighbours thought.)

3 goes in, much the same, I got my chap to do it with me as he does alot of fitness stuff, and I actually started to get it. (With no help from him ) My worst thing was the basic salsa step, I kept going wrong, it was mad.

Now I can pretty much do the first bit and the second routine, and was doing it (the 20 minute bit) everyday for about 3 weeks. And if I didn't do that, having got the basic steps, I just shoved a latin CD on and did the basic steps to
that. I have been bad this week, but that is just stress. Back to doing it again tomorrow.

And ta the rest of you for making me feel less bad for taking so long to lose 2 stone!

1.LMAO.Visions of Tigger like activity...

2.My neighbours view me with suspision already

3.Not sure my head will every remember salsa step but then I have eventually leart how to balance on lateral thigh trainer without holding onto something so maybe there's hope yet...

4.Exercise will help with the stress.relax you, shake stress out and give you a nice kick of endorphins.

5.You have lost the weight how every health professional tells us to so you are a winner already!

Wishing you a calmer week

Good morning.Weighed in and I've managed to get back to where I was last sun morn!So I think that is 1lb lost from last Mon, which if you could see what the scales registered thurs morn,You'd sigh a huge sigh of relief too.
Looking forward to everyone else's results......Have a good day.

Well done Saggy. And I love the descriptions of doing the salsacise DVD CM. My cats were amazed watching me bounce around the room. I still haven't got it, but didn't do the salsacise very much last week - but I have a slight advantage now in that our head office has just moved to within walking distance so instead of driving there every day, I walk there which is giving me exercise. However, I want to crack the salsacise so will get back to it this week - especially with Christmas approaching and all the eating that will entail.....

Saggy, have you seen this article in the Daily Mail today?

ian's no 1 fan, well done. There'll be nothing left of you soon!!Sounds like you are on track for Coody Mows challenge too.Brill.

Force Ten,yes I did see the article thank you.It sounds promising.A lot of money to find (I'm nowhere near as bad as the woman),but if it is proven to work it is something to bear in mind.I've managed to loose the cartilage on the insides of the knees but the outsides are fine so it wouldn't be such big surgery as the womans I hope.(I'm a terrible coward, had carpel tunnel surgery on both hands 2 years 23 months ago and still traumatised by it.lol).Something to discuss with consultant at next check up.Will you?

I got released from work early today for good behaviour so have done the salsacise again this evening.I even managed to almost include my arms but the hip movements...well that's not there in any shape or form.Hee Hee.Not many weigh ins posted today....has everybody lost so much weight they've dissappeared?

I'm ill at the moment, so I haven't been paying much attention to my diet/exercise this week.
But I've just weighed myself now and I'm still 11 stone 10, which is two pounds below what I started with, but means I haven't lost anything this week.

Never mind quackaquacka. Just keep on exercising if you can and it will start coming off again. And well done to Ian's No.1 fan. That's 5 lbs so you're well on the way.

Saggy, I'm definitely going to mention it next time I have a check up. It sounds a lot better than a knee replacement.

quackaquacka,if you can stay strong on the diet the weight will suddenly start to shift any day now.I watched a programme recently where the man in charge of the dieters said our bodies can plateau from 1 week up to 3 weeks.I found this somewhat comforting! It's just the staying on track while waiting.Hope you feel better soon and at least you haven't put any on.And as Force ten says getting back into the exercise will get stuff moving.

I found us on page 3.Where has everybody gone???Are you all having a good week?

I have managed to do the first bit of the salsacise dvd every night since sun.Almost getting co-ordinated!lol.Cats still staring with intrigue.....

I have to say although the scales read no major loss so far this week, 4 different people today in different places have said they can see a big difference.Very nice and felt great but not sure what they can see!Maybe it's the salsacise but long may it continue.lol.

Looking forward to hearing how you are all doing.

I think my DVD has arrived, although I'm not sure. The postman decided that becaues there was a car in the driveway, the lights were on and there was noise coming from the house, it meant that there was no-one home so he should just leave a card for me to come and pick it up

Have to wait until Saturday to get it, now

Bummer!! No Christmas tip for him then. Still keeps you in suspence a bit longer I suppose.I had mine for 2 weeks before I unwrapped it.I like to keep the suspense going.I think you will be really pleased with it.

Might be that you have toned muscle as well as losing fat, which is great - muscle helps you use more calories.

I think I have toned up while I was away due to much walking, but haven't yet had a chance to check the scales.

I'm the same as you saggy. Haven't actually lost any weight so far this week but people are beginning to say I look a bit thinner so it must be doing some good. And my cats find it all very odd too!

However, since my Take That CD finally arrived today, I might have to try dancing to that tonight

Which DVD is this? Is this the Salsa one Coody Mow has been talking about. What's it called?

My weigh in tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I'll report in.

sarah-flute,looking forward to weigh in day for you then!Well done on lots of exercise.I'm certainly feeling the leg muscles when walking up the stairs-the muscles complain like mad!!

Force Ten,The magic of salsacise eh?!I have to say the knee is a bit sore tonight but 1.I still haven't bought the pills yet and 2.I di have to stand outside today for an hour and walk a long way to football pitch to watch oldest child I look after play in his match, and my knee hates standing and walking on the muddy fields was hard going so hopefully not salsacise just normal wear and tear.Take that eh?Many hours of fun dancing ahead.I've bought the westlife this week and it's really slow, calm, relaxing one so no diet benefit there!(good for calming when having a hissy fit moment so good for the heart!)

A yummy post match tea was laid on and I put blinkers on so as not to see the sandwhiches and cakes!Made do with a delicious cup of tea.lol.

cissy scouse the dvd is the Rosemary Conely Shape up and Salsacise. It 's the Coody Mow recommened(think she should get a percentige of profit!).Good luck for the weigh in .

I've ordered a different one to the one everyone else is using , ordered it before I found this thread. I might get that one later, but figure I'll stick to this one and see if that does anything first.

Doing so so.... it's that yucky monthly time so it's making me crave sweet stuff...BUT I've been very good with not drinking my wine until tonight when I'm having some red wine..but I was very active while teaching today from 2 - 9 p.m. so I should be ok Have also ordered a dVD version of my favourite Yoga video so when that comes I can start doing my Sun Salutations again on a morning

I checked this morning: I lost 2 3/4 pounds while I was away despite eating like a horse and having puddings galore! Wooo, go me - all that walking round Jerusalem worked wonders. Knackered out of my tiny mind now but hope I can avoid putting it back on. I also have gone down fat-percentage wise (lol, you really wanted to know that, right?? ) so I must've lost fat and even put on muscle. YAY!

Well done you.

Weighed myself today and have lost the weight I put on last week..it obviously was 'cos of the old month thing.

Are we still all on track for a stone by the final?

I'm not. Maybe we should say by the new year!

Are you measuring yourself? Some weeks I lose no pounds but lose two inches which is great. Measure your waist, hips, widest part, bust, tops of arms, knees, thighs and then do it again after a week, and I bet you see a difference. I have lost over 50 inches. That feels good.

Yes it is the one mentioned.

(Look at me posting 100 times in a row)

But yesterday I put on a latin CD and did the basic steps to it, and went mad dancing around my room. I lost a pound in two days doing that. So you don't need the DVD, just the steps and I bet someone here can tell you the basic steps. Good luck.
