sarah-flute,well done!Keep it up.

Coody Mow,I was thinking myself today that I may not do the stone by the final! But seeing as how my 'monthly' arrived today that may be why nothing has shifted fast so far this week!(somehow I thought I was due next week...yes I do scare even myself as by 39 you think I'd have worked it out.lol)
50 inches gone, that's amazing.Well done.I still haven't found my tape measure but will go and buy one when I'm next in town.Hadn't thought of it like that before.

The only step of the salsacise dvd I'm sure of is the cha cha cha step.hee hee.

Ta! Honestly, it took me a while to get too, but I am okay now and have two left feet.

And my 'you know what' arrived a week early, and I have lost two pounds since, it is amazing what you put on with that, men have no such problems.

And Rosemary says that and it is true. For all you know you may only have lost a few pounds according to your scales but 12 inches off your body, which is a foot! It really does make a difference.

Thankyou! The ruching at the waist is SO good at hiding my tums!! LOL

Plus, my one good feature is my cleavage, and this shows it with bells on! Everyone who knows me are going to be , because the last time I wore a dress was years ago!!

WOW,I love it!!Such a great Xmas colour. You will look amazing. well done on the loss too.Right on track as say....Keep.......exercising!When do you go away?

I went into my town today to get something for Xmas day and a yearly Xmas dinner with friends Mon week but could find nothing. My bottom half fitted into size 16 (God it's a good feeling isn't it) but my top is between 18/20 but nothing said 'buy me' so came home with nothing. I hate shopping as it is so I'll give it another go this week! However I did find shoes....

I still look at my size 16 jeans in surprise at how small the waist is when I hang them up to dry after washing.I must measure them against the 22's to see the difference.

Editne of the tops I tried on showed so much clevage I blushed.Don't think even if I get slimmer I'll have the courage to let it show...

I always remember Trinny and Susannah saying that ruching was a godsend, as you can't see whats tummy and whats fabric - a theory that I stick to all the time

What I also like about it is that the straps are thick enough for a bra -I cannot bear being without one!
Us big-chested ladies need all the support we can get

Thankyou! Mind you, it is an oversize shop I got it from, and I think they are quite generous with their sizing. Out in the real world, I would probably be an 18 - still a nice feeling though!

That must be fantastic - if you still have some 22's you should take a photo of them next to the 16s!

If you are size 16 up (sorry if you aren't!) you should order one! It really does enhance good parts and detract from others!

No need to be sorry - have been dieting for a LONG time, in fact, since the last series of SCD!!

Have lost 2 and a half stone, although with Xmas coming up I can see some of it going back on
I am in a 12 mostly, sometimes a 14 on the top now, but would love that dress, it's really stunning.
It's so nice when you get something that you feel fabulous in. It really makes your night, even before you go out!

I have put the website you used into my favourites to have a look tomorrow
I have all the old clothes boxed up but am going to keep them just in case I expand for any reason. ,so will take a photo.Good idea.

I wore a winter short coat this week that when i bought it 2 years ago I couldn't do it up but it fitted so to speak. This week I was able to do it up and caused a sensation 'cos everyone said I now have a waist. I did reply that I've always had a waist it just wasn't visible.lol.I really can't get over peoples praise and support. It quite amazes me and then keeps me motivated.I hope this will help me to maintain at what ever weight I make it to as I so don't want to go back up again which like most people I have done before...

That black and white one is beeeyooutiful. You have very good taste

Thanks for your kind words - truth be told I hate dieting, but LOVE feeling slimmer. I truly think that people who do not struggle with their weight (like my hubby ) do not understand how difficult it really is. They just think "eat less" soo simple you would think, but really NOT.

I bought Davina Mccall's fitness DVd's and I thought they were brilliant. Really inspiring........

Must dig them out and blow the dust off
Keep heart dieting people We'll get there!

Well I've had a dreadful week what with problems at work and a few other things. I won't even mention what my weight is but will concentrate on exercising and trying not to overeat and see what it's like next week. Problem is every time I get a bit low (whether due to work problems or whatever) I get an attack of the munchies

Got weighed last Thursday and I lost 5lbs! So that's ten and a half in two weeks. I know it will start to slow down but it has given me a real boost.

Love the pics of the clothes, Keep em coming.

Good on you Cissy.

Ten and a half pounds, that a fantastic amount to loose.

I have finally got hold of my DVD...it came today amidst a whole lot of foam packaging, so that's currently all over the floor I'd try it out now, but have to go to my driving lesson and then I have to wait for an alarmed man (or possibly a man to come and check the alarm system) to come, so I don't have high hopes for being able to do it today

Sorry to post twice in a row, but I have a question to ask. The DVD I have now (which I am currently watching, to get a grasp of it before I do it, and am loving) covers the waltz, the quickstep, the rumba and the cha cha, as well as a general workout. I am looking at a salsa for beginners DVD also, although I haven't bought that yet (I get bored easily, so I'm looking for something to alternate this one with.)

My question is, how easy is salsa to pick up? I am a complete and utter novice, I have never danced a step before in my life (except for The Time Warp ) so I don't want to try something that'll really throw me out of my depths. The DVD says it's for beginners, but...how is salsa dancing, as a whole, to start out with?

(Sorry if that doesn't make sense...I sort of lost it a bit in the middle!)
