Totally! Rosemary conley makes you measure yourselves, and if I don't lose weight one week, I see if I have lost inches. I have lost over 50 inches so far.
And my mum said she used to, when she was dieting, get a bit of string and put it round her waist and measure it, and then see if it decreased week after week.
Some weeks I don't lose any pounds but do lose inches...that is just as important..so yes, that is good enough.

This is so informal....just log in on a Monday and say how you have done the last week...you don't even need to say any figures (I won't be on the weeks I go wrong.

) It's the encouragement here more than anything, that will help us all, I think.
